Stefan said he wanted to talk to Elena so he would meet us at the party. We walked in and I spotted Damon straight away as he approached us.

"Where's my brother?" He asked, stopping once he neared us.

"He said he'd meet us here." Lexi replied simply.

"Buy you a-" Damon began speaking but stopped when Lexi brushed passed him. He looked at me hopefully but I just smiled as I followed Lexi to the bar.

"What was that about?" I asked amused, referring to Damon.
"Ugh, it's a long story. I came here to get drunk, not talk about Damon." She pointed out, saying his name in disgust.

"Then lets get drunk." I smirked as Lexi turned to the bartender.

"Two shots of tequila." She ordered. He was about to serve her before stopping.

"I need to see some I.D." He declared pointing his finger.

"No you don't." Lexi stated, staring into his eyes.

"That'll be, uh-" he began speaking before Lexi interrupted him.

"Free." She chirped.

"On the house." The guy nodded as if it was his idea.

"Thanks." She smiled happily.

"Huh- that's handy." I nodded, impressed. "If I could just skip the whole dying, drinking blood, burning in the sun thing I would totally not mind being a vampire." I concluded downing my shot.

"Trust me, the bad tops the good every time. I'd do anything to have a normal life." She sighed swamping her drink. I turned around leaning my elbows on the bar. I caught sight of Stefan walking in so I waved him over.

"There's Stefan." I informed Lexi as she turned.

"Ah finally, he is the reason I'm here after all." She smiled dragging me towards the pool table where Stefan was waiting. He threw me a pool stick before doing the same to Lexi.

"Are you sure you want to play me in this?" I asked resting my hand on my hip.

"And why wouldn't I?" He questioned amused, rubbing chalk on the end of his pool stick.

"You don't want me to beat you on your birthday do you?" I smiled blissfully which arose a laugh.

"Miss Gilbert." He chucked. "I've been around a long time, I've learned a few skills along the way." He declared amused.

"We'll see." I smirked bending over the table. I pulled back the cue hitting the triangle of balls in the middle of
the table. They went in all directions letting two fall into the same pocket. I straightened up and turned to Stefan with a proud smile.

"My turn!" Lexi exclaimed from behind me making me jump. I forgot she was even here, I was too busy antagonising Stefan. He raised his eyebrows before I turned away paying attention to the game.

I lost. I was so sure of myself before Stefan beat me.
Lexi went to the bar to get us drinks when I noticed her talking to Elena, though she said she wasn't coming. I looked at Stefan who was still playing pool. He didn't look very focused on the game and he wasn't playing as well so I knew he was listening.

"You shouldn't be eavesdropping." I smirked; tutting disapprovingly.

"Eavesdropping on what?" He asked, dumbfounded.
