I rolled over and let out a sigh. I laid on my back and looked at Elena who was sitting on the already made bed next to mine.
Elena's my identical twin, we look exactly alike which sometimes makes it hard for people to tell us apart but we have very distinctive styles which does help.
"Morning." I grumbled rubbing my eyes trying to wake myself up.
"Morning." She replied focusing on her diary.
"What are you writing?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"It's called my diary for a reason Ari." She said back with a smile. I rolled my eyes and turned around cuddling into my covers.
"Come on, it's time to get up." She groaned.
"I know." I muffled into the blankets.

"So why aren't you up?" She asked as  I heard her closing her diary and standing up from her bed. I squeezed my sheets waiting for the impact. Elena jumped and landed with a thud directly on top of me.
"Ow!I'm up, I'm up!" I shouted quickly, hoping she would move.
"Thought so." She smiled happily getting up from my bed and leaving the room.
I pulled myself out of the covers and went to the bathroom to get washed and dressed. I grabbed my school bag and rushed downstairs.

"Toast. I can make toast." My aunt Jenna stressed pressing her palm to her forehead.
"It's all about the coffee aunt Jenna." Elena smiled gesturing to her cup of coffee.
"Ah." Jenna nodded with a thankful smile.

"Is there coffee?" My little brother Jeremy asked as he entered the kitchen.
"Thanks." He said as he grabbed Elena's fresh cup of coffee off the counter and taking a sip.
She glared at him but poured herself another and left it on the counter next to her. I walked over and picked it up taking a gulp.
"Seriously?" She sighed and poured herself another.
"Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" She asked holding up 30 dollars. I wouldn't blame her for stressing, it's not like it's her fault three teenagers got dumped on her doorstep. She's living at our house but you get the point.
"I'm fine." Elena waved her off while Jeremy took the ten dollars on offer.

I shrugged and grabbed the 20 dollars left in her hand and shoved it in my pocket.
"Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?" She asked panicking. I laughed at her rushing around the kitchen looking for something she might have missed.
"Don't you have a big presentation today?" I asked raising my eyebrows taking a sip of my coffee.
"I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at... now! Crap!" She exclaimed checking the watch on her wrist.
"Then go. We'll be fine." I smiled reassuringly. I feel sorry for Jenna sometimes, she didn't have to take us in after our parents died but she did. I don't know what we would have done if she didn't.
She gave me a thankful smile and left.
"You okay?" Elena asked Jeremy being the concerned sister she is.
"Don't start." He snapped before following Jenna out.
I think he took it the hardest out of all of us. He's changed since mom and dad died.

"So Grams is telling me I'm psychic. Our ancestors were from Salem, witches and all that, I know it's crazy, but she's going on and on about it and I'm like, put this woman in a home already! But then I start thinking, I predicted Obama and Heath Ledger, and I still think Florida will break off into little resort islands." Bonnie spoke being the only one talking most of the car ride. "Elena..." she finally said when she wasn't getting a response.

"Oh, sorry bonnie, I did it again didn't I." Elena said shaking out of her faze. She was doing that quite a lot recently. "You were telling me that....." She said struggling to remember what bonnie had been talking about.
