I rolled over in my bed snuggling into my covers and just as I was attempting to fall back to sleep the events of last night rushed through me. I sat up quickly, soon realising I wasn't in my room.

"Bad dream?" I jumped slightly hearing a voice from behind me. I turned around abruptly only to see no other than Damon Salvatore lying next to me.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I exclaimed standing out of the bed onto the cold floor.

"I should be the one asking you that. You are in my room after all." He smirked smugly.

"How did I get here? What happened?" I continued to question him frantically.

"Well, the most important thing is; I saved your life." He gleamed proudly.

"I drank your blood didn't I." I sighed, disgusted at the thought.

"What a way to be grateful." He scowled, leaning on his elbows.

"Yeah, thanks for the disease!" I bellowed sarcastically.

"Ugh, I'm regretting my decision already." He sighed, falling back into his pillow.

"Why am I here anyway?" I asked curiously as Damon shut his eyes not paying much attention.

"Elena didn't want Jenna asking questions so she got your clothes and brought you here." He explained carelessly.

"And there isn't one spare bedroom in this huge house?" I questioned crossing my arms over my chest.

"There's five actually." He noted. "But I thought you would be more comfortable here."

"Oh, how considerate." I nodded becoming slightly frustrated. "What about Jeremy?" I asked becoming worried at the thought of my brother.

Damon opened his eyes and stood out from his bed.

"Okay, before you blame me; Elena, not me, Elena, wanted to remove his memories of last night to save him from suffering." He explained looking at me cautiously. "Good right?" He smiled showing off his teeth.

"Good? How is that good? Now he just doesn't remember?" I asked flailing my arms out dramatically.

"He thinks she moved away." He shrugged. "It's for the better." He nodded taking me by the shoulders.

"And Matt?" I went on.

"He thinks she took off." He shrugged before turning around and walking off to the bathroom connected to his room.
I stood there not sure of what to do. You can't just make someone forget something like that, Jeremy should know. I wasn't going to tell him but Elena shouldn't have taken his memory away.

I heard a shower start and Damon shouting "want to join!" I just ignored him and made my way out to the hall.
I peeked over the balcony to the living room but no one could be seen so I continued my way down the hallway until I stopped when I heard Stefan's voice.

"Her name is Elena." He said to someone unknown.

"Let's hope she's better than the last girl you got all sprung over." The voice of a unfamiliar girl spoke. I tip toed closer to the doorway to get a better shot of what they were discussing.
