__________Zeth's POV_________
I feel no pain at all as I pound away at the dummies and sandbags positioned around the training room. Any other person would have bloody and bruised knuckles after the amount of time I've spent punching these bags. Not me though. After spending all of high school cutting class and punching concrete pillars around campus, my knuckles no longer register pain. The door at the edge of the room swings open and Kira walks in. She's the last contestant to arrive; I was the first. I've been here punching these sandbags since 5am and I plan to be the last one to leave as well. I study Kira as she strikes up conversation with Nate. She has confidence in the way she walks, she is sure of her skills. I however, am not. In fact, there aren't many people in here that I consider a viable threat. Nate's smart, but he lacks guts. Kelsey is talented, but not overly strategic. Vinny is slow and soft, I could pop him like bubble wrap. Matthew is obviously a strategic genius, but he doesn't seem to possess much physical talent. Abigail is fast and skilled, but I could snap her neck like a celery stalk. Kira doesn't look like much, I'm sure I could kill her. Eduardo.... Hmmm. He's interesting. He's really strong, and he seems intelligent enough.
I smile to myself. Finally, some competition.
