Moving like wraiths in the night, the two shadowy figures invaded the camp belonging to Nate, Vinny, and Kira. One moved quickly and silently with deadly elegance. The other moved with a severe limp; as if he had a hole through his leg, (which, in fact, he did). Matthew and Abigail stopped over Vinny's sleeping figure. Abigail silently unzipped his sleeping bag and reached in. She pulled out a glowing vial of medical serum. Handing it to Matthew, she moved over to Kira. Matthew pulled out a syringe and needle and drew out all the serum from the vial. He then stabbed the needle into his injured leg and pushed down the plunger. He grimaced and gritted his teeth in pain as his leg rapidly healed; new bone and tissue forming in seconds. He was once again fully functional. Unfortunately, Kira was a light sleeper, and Matthew's grunt of pain awakened her. She jumped up and drew her sword. "Ambush! We're under attack!" She screamed. Nate and Vinny bolted awake, Vinny turned his glove on to full power and Nate gripped his fishing knife tightly. Matthew pulled out a broadsword he had retrieved from the weapons cache and lunged towards Kira. Kira brought her own sword up in defense, but the momentum of the blow sent them both crashing into the forest behind them. Abigail pulled out her dual daggers and proceeded to do battle with Nate and Vinny, dodging knife slashes and flicking electrified wires with grace.

Kira scrambled to get to her feet as Matthew charged at her again. She was barely able to lift her sword as his blade came crashing down. The katana was sent spinning out of her hand and she fell back to the ground. Matthew's sword was much more powerful and had more reach, she had to get her blade back and close the distance. She crawled towards her sword, but Matthew smacked her with the flat of his blade, breaking cartilage and ribs and bruising everything else. She gasped for breath as he advanced on her. He chuckled, swinging his blade.
"You're even easier to kill than Kelsey." He said with a wolffish grin. Kira returned his smile and tossed a vial of some murky liquid at him.
"What the hell!" He shouted as the vial broke and the liquid was absorbed through his skin. He tried to wipe it off but his hands weren't moving. Matthew  panicked, and turned to run, but his legs wouldn't work; he was paralyzed. Kira shakily came to her feet. She calmly walked over and picked up her sword.
"You like my creation?" She asked, walking now back toward Matthew. "It's a fast-acting paralysis agent derived from native plants." She ran her finger down her blade, feeling two dents made by Matthew's sword. She glared at him. "Your labor camps killed my brothers. You took them for slaves and they died in your custody. And now, you've dented my blade." She pushed Matthew, and he fell straight to the ground. She stood over him and looked down into his eyes. "You've hurt a lot of people; now, I'm going to make you pay. Goodnight Mr. Dictator." She plunged the curved blade into his chest,  going straight through his rib cage and puncturing his heart. Matthew shuddered, and breathed his last.

Abigail was still locked in a brutal stalemate with Vinny and Matthew. She was about to win though, the two fools had stumbled into her end-game. She had perfectly positioned them to kill one another. All she needed was a distraction. At that moment, Kira emerged limping from the woods
"I killed him!" She yelled, "I killed Matthew!" Nate glanced at her. That one break in concentration was all Abigail needed, she lunged at Vinny then ducked. Vinny panicked and launched his wires. They sailed straight over the head of the now ducking Abigail and hit Nate full in the chest. Nate flew back into the underbrush, jolted by electricity. Vinny screamed angrily and began to run from Abigail; she gave chase.

Nate was alive. He was in pain, but he was alive. He pulled off his smoking suit jacket and examined the rubber insulation he had placed there once he knew the nature of Vinny's weapon. He had planned keep this a secret until he betrayed and killed Vinny but now he was just glad he had that jacket on. He brushed himself off and stood up to rejoin the fight. Before he went back into the clearing though, something caught his eye. A crate with a white parachute tied to it. His eyes gleamed greedily as he tore the crate open with his bare hands. Splinters dug into his flesh, but he didn't care, the contents of the crate made up for the pain. His throwing knives had arrived.

Vinny panted heavily as he ran from Abigail. He wasn't fast enough though. Abigail pounced on his shoulders and brought him to the ground. She raised her dagger to deliver the killing blow; but as she brought the weapon down, she was hit with white hot pain in her forearm. She screamed and dropped the dagger. Her right tricep was skewered straight through with a throwing knife. She fell to the ground as Nate, the cause of her pain, advanced on her. She spit at him and turned to run the other direction. Instantly, another knife pierced her calf, slicing her tendon and forcing her to collapse. She fell with a scream and proceeded to crawl towards the underbrush. With one final push, she made it to the woods. Nate was about to walk in after her when he heard a drawn out scream and a sickening snap. Nate backed away from the woods as a massive man clad in bearskin emerged holding Abigail's limp body in one hand. He threw her corpse to the side and drew his hatchets. Nate turned and sprinted towards Vinny.
"Run Vinny!" He yelled, "it's Zeth!" A look of terror crossed Vinny's face as he dug in his heels to turn the other way. He was too late though, right as he turned, two hatchets thudded into him; one burying itself in his skull the other directly between his shoulder blades. Vinny went stiff, then collapsed dead. Zeth smiled and walked over to his latest victim, intent on retrieving the hatchets. Nate didn't even look back at his dead ally, he ran as fast as he could, Kira hobbled after him, but wasn't near fast enough. She called for Nate's help, but he ignored her, concerned only with his own survival. Nate looked back once before disappearing into the forest. He saw Abigail's corpse, her limbs splayed at odd angles, Vinny's corpse, and Kira digging into the ground, sword held high, preparing to fight Zeth. Nate felt a twinge of pity for her; she stood no chance against Zeth. He sighed, and plunged deeper into the forest, saving himself.
