Stop Your Crying Helpless Feeling

Cj's POV

I picked up my phone and the text was an unknown number it said:

Don't ask me how I got your number, come to 29th park lane. I need your help.
Okay..the fuck? Who the hell is this? Should I go? I have no clue what to do.
After a while I decided to go. Maybe they really did need my help. I grabbed my All Time Low hoodie and grabbed my phone. I didn't even think about calling the police beforehand.

"I'll be back in a little bit I'm just going for a walk." I yelled to Gerard and Lindsey.

"Okay sweetie be back before dinner." Lindsey replied.

"Alright." I walked out the door and started my way. When I finally got there I stood in front of a house that looked abandoned. The paint was a dull grey and it also was chipped off. The lawn looked like the desert plus dirt, and there were weeds everywhere. I walked up to the door and knocked. No answer. I'm sure this was the place. I knocked again. Still no answer. I checked to see if the door was unlocked. It was and I opened it.

"Hello?" I heard screams, both male and female from deep inside the house.

"DON'T EVER TALK BACK, DO YOU HEAR ME?" Yelled a male voice from what sounded like the same room where the screams came from. I pulled out my phone and called the police. I told them to come as quickly as possible. I ran towards the voice and into a dark room. I saw a woman huddled in the corner with bruises all over her body and her crying. She was bleeding from a gash in her arm. I looked to the other corner and saw Zach with a man standing over him with a belt and Zach had more bruises and more cuts and belt lashes on him than the woman. The woman noticed me and motioned for me to leave. Zach noticed me and motioned for me to leave too. The man turned to me and started walking towards me angrily. I started to back up until I hit the wall. The woman looked too weak to stand.  Zach suddenly hit the man in the back of the head with a beer bottle.
One of the pieces sliced against my face and cut me. The man fell to the ground, unconscious. I ran into Zach's arms. The police came in and took the man. Zach explained to me that the man was his father and the woman was his mother. He had been abused for a long time and I told him that I had been too. The ambulance came and took Zach and his mom away. They told me to go home and get the cut cleaned up. It was about 9 when I got home. I opened the door and ran to my room. Nobody noticed. I cried myself to sleep. But I was half asleep when Gerard came in and sang, The Light Behind Your Eyes to me. I then drifted off into a deep sleep.
