Sometimes I Cry So Hard From Pleading

Gerard's POV

When I got to the hospital I ran inside and to the front desk.  I quickly asked to see Cj Way and she told me the room number. When I got to the door, I stood there and sighed. I had an idea about what I was about to walk into, and let me tell you it wasn't pretty. I placed my hand on the door knob and turned it slowly, peering into the room as I did so.  I saw Cj in the bed covered in tubes and wires, her eye was swollen, and had bruises all over  her body. I held in my breath and walked in, closing the door behind me. I sat down in the chair beside the bed and held my head in my hands. I looked up  and took one look at her and started crying instantly.
"Please come back I need you. Your kids need you. Everyone needs you! Please...."
My pleas didn't work as she still kept her eyes closed and breathing steady.  I called Zach and told him everything. He pulled the kids out of school and brought them to the hospital. I honestly couldn't take it anymore and decide to go home, plus I didn't need to see the kids reactions to their mother, nor Zach to his wife. What I needed was sleep, it had been stressful day.  Part me thought that if I went to sleep it would all turn out to be a bad dream, but in reality it wasn't a bad dream, it was real and I was devastated.
