Cj's POV
I really didn't want them to spend any money on me, them just taking me in was enough. I don't deserve anything they get me, I don't even deserve them. But I guess I have no choice.
"We have to stop to pick up Lindsey, then we'll go."
"Okay." I said quietly. We picked up Lindsey and I went in the backseat. I slowly got my iPod and earbuds out and only put one in just in case they started talking to me. I put on Boy Division and stared out the window. I wonder what Mk's doing. The song switched to Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back. When we finally got there I turned off my iPod and put it in my pocket along with my earbuds. We went into the mall and I looked around, this was a huge mall.
"So I had an idea that you and Lindsey would go shopping for clothes and I'll go shopping for the other things." Gerard said.
"That might take you a while." Lindsey said to Gerard
"Knowing women, it takes you a while to shop for clothes too."
"Fine." Lindsey said, Gerard walked away. "Alright where do you wanna go first?"
"HOT TOPIC!" I yelled loudly
"Haha okay let's go." We walked into Hot Topic and I was excited. " you can get whatever you want, don't worry about prices."
"Really?"
"Of course go ahead." I went straight to the band merch and picked out a couple shirts that included Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! At The Disco. The emo trinity. I went over to Lindsey. "What?! That's it? Go get more! I'll hold these for you." She said taking the shirts out of my arms. I went back over to the band merch and got a lot more shirts. I also picked out bracelets and some cool studded belts. We paid for all the stuff. "So where do you want to go now?" She asked
"Let's go find Gerard." I said we found Gerard in a electronic store looking at TVs, and by TVs I mean huge TVs.
"Hey guys, you got done quick." Gerard smiled.
"Yeah, we just went to Hot Topic." I said
"Nice, now which one do you want?" He said pointing at two TVs.
"Um which ever one is cheaper." I said quietly
"Don't worry about prices sweetie." Gerard said. "Which one do you want?" I pointed to the flatter looking one. We got that one and after an hour we got all the stuff Gerard said he would except a piano which I didn't really think about but it's okay. I also got a nose ring! Fuck yeah! We got home at close to 12 pm and Gerard helped me set up the tv and everything.
"Dammit, you know what you need?" Gerard said to me
"What?"
"A desk and a comfy chair."
"You already got me too much stuff, you spent too much on me."
"Sweetie, I want you to know your part of this family now, we have a lot of money and your worth it." I didn't say anything I just ran up to him and hugged him.
"Thank you so much."
"No problem sweetie, anytime." Later that day Gerard said he would be back in an hour so I got to spend some time with with Lindsey.
"So you know we have to sign you up for school right?"
"UGGHHGHHH please no" I put on my best sad face.
"I'm sorry honey it's inevitable." Lindsey said
"But I don't wanna, I'll get made fun of."
"Just punch em'" I started laughing.
"That's great advice, if I want to get suspended."
"Don't let them get to you, or as Gerard would say, don't them take the light behind your eyes."
"Okay." I smiled.
"Plus if I remember correctly there's a lot of cute boys and girls...that go to the school we're signing you up for, girls for if ya know...you're gay."
"Trust me I don't like people."
"Trust me, you will. I say that because mama knows best."
"Tangled reference?"
"Yep"
"Nice" just then Gerard busted through the door and scared Lindsey. Yeah, she screams loud. Gerard and I were laughing so hard that we fell on the floor.
"Very funny you guys." Lindsey said pretending to be annoyed. She rolled her eyes. When Gerard and I were done laughing/crying on the floor Gerard got up and went out to the car and brought back a black and red skull fluffy chair.
"Holy shit I love it! Thank you so much!"
"Oh that's not it." He went back out to the car and brought back a black desk with red skulls on it."
"Thank you so much!"
"No problem sweetie."
