Hope came woke me up at 7:30.
Me: noo to early
Hope: Come on Baby Horse
Me: 5 more minutes
Hope: Baby Horse
Me: Fine
I sat up and went to get off the bed and winced.
Hope: hurts doesn't it?
Me: yes but I think I'm good
Hope: I'll go make the coffee. Get dressed and we'll head out.
Me: Okay
Hope left and I got out of bed. I went to the bathroom and looked at my side. It was just starting to bruise. I put on my shirt and changed into my sliders. I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag before going downstairs. I put my dirty laundry in the washer and then went to the kitchen. Hope had my coffee set out. I grabbed mine to go and went to the car. We got to the facility and went to the pool area. We did pool stretches first and then ice baths. No one noticed my side until I got out of the ice bath and it showed the whole bruise.
Pinoe: Damn Baby Horse that must hurt.
Me: Yeah it does
Pinoe: It goes all the way from your armpit to your hip. It's darker in the middle you can make out Ali's whole knee oh my god!
Me: yeah I know I can feel it
I dried off and changed into dry clothes. Hope and I went to the car and went to the deli for lunch. We got sandwiches and sat down. We were halfway through eating when Ali and Ashlyn came in. I waved them over and they sat down.
Ali: Hey how's your side?
Me: it looks worse than it feels but hey I have and impression of your knee
I lifted up my shirt and showed them
Ash: ouch that looks worse than when I hit my shoulder on the post.
Ali: and that was bad. I'm sorry Baby Horse.
Me: I know you are it was just an accident
Hope: she's tough
Ash: Yeah she is because Ali has legs of steel
Ali: Stop
Hope: Yes please stop
We all laughed and talked until we were all down with lunch. Hope and I left and went home. I grabbed my clean clothes and went up to my room. I packed everything and then brought my bags down stairs. Hope put them in the car and we headed to the airport. We got to the check in desk and I checked my bags in. We walked to security and stopped.
Me: Bye Hope. I won't get to see you for like a month.
Hope: I know I'm going to miss you
Me: I'm going to miss you too.
Hope: well you better go so you don't miss your flight. Keep your 5 year old self out of trouble.
Me: I'll try bye Hope
Hope: Bye Baby Horse.
I turned and walked through security. I turned and waved to Hope who took a picture before I was out of sight. I boarded my plane and got a notification from Twitter and I looked at Hope's post.

Me: Bye Hope and I'll try my best! #itfindsme @hopesolo
I put on my headphones and started my playlist. I feel asleep for about two hours but woke up before we landed in Houston. I landed in Houston and had to run to my other gate because my landing was a little later than expected. I made it just I time. I put on my headphones and listened to music for the next hour. My plane landed in West Point and I went to baggage claim. My parents were waiting for me there.
Mom: Hey sweetie
Dad: How was your flight?
Me: It was fine I feel asleep on the first one
Mom: here come the bags
Me: The second one is mine
Dad: I got it
My dad got my bag and then we went to the car. We headed home and I brought my bags to my room. I unpacked my bags and went out to the living room.
Mom: We saw your game how is your side
Me: it's good just bruised
Mom: Okay well dinner is ready
Me: okay thanks
We ate dinner and then I went to my room and watched Netflix. I went to bed around 10 after my show had ended.
