Sabrina and I woke up at 8. We got dressed and went down to breakfast. Sabrina put on grey sweats and a black top. I had on my jack Daniels muscle tee, red Nike shorts and my white Birkenstocks. We sat down with Casey, Cady, Jess, and Kelcie who got to the hotel this morning.
Kelcie: Hey Sabrina, Hey Baby Horse
Sabrina: hey Kelcie, hey Jess
Me: hey guys
Jess: oh Baby Horse I heard there is a new Savannah so you officially will always be Baby Horse
Me: Oh yay!
Casey: you know you love it
Me: I do
We all ate breakfast and caught up. We all decided to go shopping and eat out for lunch. After a couple hours we got back to the hotel and Coach French came up to us.
French: I should have known you were all together
Cady: yeah lol what do you need coach?
French: The rest of the team has already met her but I want to introduce you all to Savannah Demelo.
Demelo: hey it's good to meet you all. I'm number 15 and a defender and I'm 20.
Casey: I'm Casey number 1, goal keeper and I'm also 20.
Cady: I'm Cady number 2, center back and I'm 20.
Kelcie: I'm Kelcie number 7, attacking mid and I'm 19.
Jess: I'm Jessica number 12, center back, and I'm also 19.
Sabrina: I'm Sabrina, number 6, right back; I'm 20 and co-captain
Me: I'm Baby Horse, number 18, forward, I'm 16 and co-captain.
Demelo: wait you're only 16
Me: yup
Sabrina: don't underestimate her she is a machine
Demelo: wow, you know you look just like Alex Morgan
Me: yeah I know everybody calls us the twins.
French: I really think you are somehow, anyways dinner is at 8 and then we have a team meeting so don't be late.
Casey: We won't.
We all went back to our rooms and watched a movie until dinner. We went down and fixed our plates. We sat at our table and talked about random things. Coach French came in and then began her meeting.
French: Alright ladies it's good to see all 22 of you. First of all tomorrow morning everybody needs to have their stuff in the lobby by 7. Breakfast is at 6:30 and we need to be pulling out by 8:10. The plane leaves at 10. We will get there at the hotel in Brazil around 2 in the morning on Tuesday. We won't train until Wednesday. Thursday morning is a media day for Baby Horse and the other 5 of you at that table. After that we will train until Sunday the day before our first game. We will have a meeting Sunday night. One last thig ladies as you have learned from our national team create your bubble and don't let outside things affect you. That is all for tonight. Good night and see you all in the morning. Oh wait, remember to wear your travel suit. The black t-shirt and the grey jacket not the windbreaker please.
After Coach French left we all got up and went to our rooms. Sabrina and I brushed our teeth and went to bed.
