Sabrina and I were already up by 8 thank to our nerves being internal alarm clocks. We went down to breakfast and sat with our group.
French: good morning ladies. I know this is a big day but we need to stay calm and focused. The meeting is at 11 and lunch is at 12. The bus is leaving at 4:30. Be smart and see you later.
I told the girls bye and went on my search for a ball. I didn't have to go far because Coach French had one waiting for me. I took it and said thanks before leaving the hotel to find some space. I got my head right and then headed back to the hotel for the meeting.
We watched film and made our game plans. Coach French dismissed us and we went to lunch. After we ate we got our travel gear and went to our rooms. Sabrina and I changed and then watched PLL. We also cleaned up our room and repacked most of our stuff. When the time came we went down and loaded the bus.
We put our our warmup tops and went out for warmups and then did walkout. We got our break and then took the field for our final game against Germany. The whistle blew and everyone took off. In the first 10 minutes Marley went up the wing and sent in a cross that I finished to put us up 1-0. We celebrated and then had kick off. We had plenty of chances and and a lot of shots off. 2 minutes before the half ended I got the ball and beat the 2 center defenders before taking my shot 20 yards out making it 2-0. We went to the locker room for halftime and I gave the pep talk.
Me: We're doing amazing, we just have to keep up the pace and not let up. Don't tell Hope what i am about to say but we fucking got this! now lets go finish it!
We all ran out and the second half started. 5 minutes in Sabrina scored off of a free kick we earned for a foul on Jess. We rushed around her and celebrated before setting back up. We fought over the ball for the next 30 minutes. We finally got to the box and Kelcie made a huge cross. It went straight to the back post but it was going wide so I ran past the defender and let the ball hit off my chest and into the goal. I watched it go in and then took off. I celebrated with some fans before running back to my team. The ref blew the whistle 5 minutes later. We won the U20 world cup final 4-0. My whole team rushed and tackled me.
Casey: We did it Baby Horse!
Sabrina: We won !
Cady: hey Baby Horse is that Hope, Kelley, and..
Me: what where?!
Cady: Right there
Cady pointed and sure enough there was Hope, Kelley, Alex, Ali, and Ash. I sprinted over and jumped up the sidewall. Hope caught my arms and she and Ash lifted me over. They all gave me a hug and congratulated me.
Alex: dang twin score some more would ya!
Kelley: that chest goal was amazing!
Hope: all of you goals were
Ali: well you better go your team is calling you
Ash: yeah we will meet you at the hotel
Me: okay! bye guys
I jumped back down and ran to my team.

Kelley: she scored in every single game she's bound to get the golden ball
Alex: and the golden boot with the second goal she had tonight.
Ali: she's 16 and already breaking records
Ash: and setting new ones

French: great game ladies, the ceremony is being set up at momentarily and it will start in 15 minutes. Baby Horse go do your player of the match now and then come back.
I took off my shin guards and tucked them into the back of my shorts and jogged over to get my picture and get the plaque. I went back to my team and handed Dave the plaque to put some where for later. I hopped in the line behind Sabrina. The ceremony started and they did a lot of thanking to people and then introduced Joseph Blatter.
