The next day that I went to school, I decided to wait for Liv at her locker. Just because she can't date me, doesn't mean we can't flirt... Right?

Twenty minutes after I arrived at school, Liv still wasn't there... I'm starting to get a bit worried. After what happened to Liv yesterday, she could possibly do the unthinkable. I really hope that's not the case.
"Maddie!" I yelled across the hall.
"Sup?" She said jogging towards me.
"Where's Liv?"
She combed her fingers threw her hair. "She's uh sick..."
"Tell Mr.Green that I won't be in geography class today.... I need to see what's really going on."
"Okay, sure thing."
I picked up my bag and started to speed walk towards the school doors.
"Holden?" Maddie asked before I opened the door.
I turned to face her.
"Please, I'm begging you. Don't hurt her more than you already have. I'm trying to get you two together. But the more you flirt the more she hurts."
"I love her, I wouldn't want to hurt her."
