Maddie's Point of View
As I was pilling some cheesecake into my mouth, I saw threw my peripheral vision Josh next to me in line.
"Wanna share some of that?" Josh asked laughing quietly to himself.
"Oh yah... Sorry." I passed him a slice and put my fork down. "You're Josh right?"
He bowed. "In the flesh. I'm guessing you're Liv's twin?"
"How'd you guess?" I smirked.
"Lucky guess."
"I'm Maddie." I put out my hand and he shock it.
He put some fruit on his plate. "So...I'm new in town and I heard there's a dance next week.." Josh trailed off. "I don't have a date... So yah, did you want to go with me?"
"You seem like a great guy in all, but I have a boyfriend who is hopefully going to ask me..." I trailed off.
"That's chill." Josh rubbed the back of his neck shyly. I smiled. "I'll be your back up." I laughed. "I'm serious though, I wouldn't mind being your second choice."
I giggled nervously and let out a small snort. "Okay... Bye."
After Josh left I couldn't help but smile. With Diggie it's basically just jock dates jock and there is loads of competition. But with Josh... We both make each other smile. Then again I barely know Josh. None of that matter though, because I'm dating Diggie. If we were to ever break up again, there would be no make up.
