Sam's doing fine. He's in some small town with a dog and a nice girl. He was finally happy that you were happy and was your best man.

Dean jumped a little when he heard Cas's voice in his head. He relaxed as he felt the familiar presence of Cas in his head.

Sorry Dean, you were projecting your thoughts.

Hey Cas.

I called Sam...he said he'll be here in a few hours. Dean smiled. And he felt what he could only describe as a mental smile from Cas.

Thanks Cas. I'll be out in a minute, okay?

Okay. I'm making us some burgers for when your hungry.

Dean sent his thanks and relief through their connection and then closed his mind. It was a lot easier now. It felt natural to him, like he had trained with it...
