"Aunt Isabel, are you okay?" Mavis asked as they got out of the car. She noticed that she was being a little paranoid and jumpy.

"Huh?" Isabel said, confused. She looked at Mavis and realized what she was asking.

.

"Oh, I'm good, Mavis, don't worry. Thank you." Isabel said as they walked towards the front door. They walked up two steps to the front door, where Isabel unlocked the front door and let Drew and Mavis in.

"Corning Avenue. That's a funny name for a street: Corning. It sounds likes Corn." Drew laughed as he set his stuff on the couch.

"Well..." Isabel sighed. "This is where your dad used to live..."

"Really?!" Drew got excited.

"Yeah, this is where your dad and I lived for a while. Your grandma gave me this place, and now I get to live here."

"That's cool!" Drew said as he looked around.

Isabel smiled, "I'm going to go finish some paperwork in my room, so if you need anything, call me! That means if you're hungry too!"

"Okay auntie." Mavis said as she walked into her room. As she heard the door close, she pulled out her phone and looked at her Instagram.

"Mavis, aren't you worried?"

Mavis turned to Drew, who was still looking around the room.

"Worried about what?"

"Mom and Dad..."

"Mom and Auntie said that nothing's wrong, we're completely fine." She reassured him.

"Something doesn't seem right... Aunt Isabel wouldn't act so scared then if something wasn't wrong."

"We're fine, Drew. Relax." She ended the conversation, looking on her phone. Drew continued to look around the house, trying to find something to entertain him. She heard a door slide open and turned towards the sound, seeing Drew walk outside to the backyard.

"Drew, where are you going?" Mavis asked, putting down her phone as she walked his direction.

"Exploring. You should try it instead of exploring your Tumblr..."

Mavis rolled her eyes and put her phone in her pocket as she followed him outside. It wasn't a huge backyard, a small basketball court and a patio table with chairs behind it. Drew looked around and saw the garage, the door rusting of age. They both walked towards it, trying to pull the door, but it wouldn't budge.

Mavis turned around, giving up on their search for adventure, but Drew didn't. She started to walk inside when she turned and saw Drew looking around the doorframe, looking for another way to get inside.

"Drew! What are you doing?!" Mavis called out.

He looked around and saw a small outline of a panel on the side of the door, reaching to pull it out. Mavis walked next to him, observing what he was trying to do.

"What is this...?" He said as he finally got a grip on the panel. He successfully pulled it out, wires leading into the wall.

"I don't think you're supposed to touch it..." She slowly said as he flipped it around. A hand scanner lit dimly, barely holding enough energy to power itself.

"Whoa! This is cool!" Drew exclaimed, placing his hand on the screen. The scanner lit up and scanned his hand.

"...What did you just do?" Mavis said, afraid.

All of a sudden, they heard beeping coming from the scanner, a light turning green. The door's tumblers creaked and groaned as the door began to shake. A huge groan of metal was muffled by the door as they awaited for what was behind the door. A couple seconds later, the noise stopped. The door hissed as it opened, a small white cloud of smoke puffing out into the air. Drew slowly walked towards the door, Mavis hiding behind him. He pulled it open, noticing a line of lights leading down a set of stairs into darkness.
