I tapped my thumbs on my screen. I'm not sure why I was nervous, she has been my best friend since Kindergarden. Something about not seeing each other for 3 years really had gotten to me. She had told me she had gotten a few tattoos, and she is always telling me how her hair is a different color. Right now I believe it's black and purple, but I have no idea. She had gotten her eyebrow and lip pierced. I have no idea how we get along so well, we are polar opposites. I have never died my hair, the only place I will every pierce is my ears and maybe my belly button. I did have a tattoo, but it was small, which she was with me when I got. We turned into the familiar subdivision. I smiled to myself. I missed it so much. Not much has changed, it was still a small town in Michigan. There's Jordan's house. I mentally slapped myself for liking him as much as I did. My sisters old best friends house... There was my old house. My eyes light up. There was Lauren in the street. She was with two other boys, but right now I didn't care. I wanted to go out there and jump on her and hug her and kiss her cheek and tell her how much I missed her. My mom pulled into the driveway. I dug to find the seatbelt, glancing out the window, Lauren was running over here. I signed relief as my seatbelt came free, and the door opened with ease. I ran over to her and jumped into her arms. I loved being shorter than her, because I was never forced to be the one that gives piggy back rides or hold her. Her hair smelled like her normal shampoo. I honestly missed that smell more than I realized. Her hair was all black right now, I was kind of close. I missed her hugs, she always made you feel better. I honestly never wanted to let go of her. She set my feet down and wrapped her arms around me. I felt her head tuck in my neck.she was one of the few people that knew how to hug me. My hugs are honestly really awkward if you don't hug me right.

"I missed you so much," She mumbled then sighed into my neck, breaking my thoughts.

"I missed you, too," I almost laughed.

She had absolutely no idea. She pulled away and I looked her up and down. She was taller, boobs were bigger, butt was rounder, but she was still Lauren. Her outfit looked like she was going to sell herself at a bar though.

"You smell funny," she noted.

"That's a mix of Australia and a long 2 days," I said and grinned "By the way, what the heck are you wearing..."

She raised an eyebrow. I remember how long it took to teach her that. She glanced down at herself. She was wearing a black tube top and white high waisted shorts. I'm almost sure her butt is hanging out of them, you can see her birthmark in the front of her leg which is in line where her butt starts. I knew she wanted to be like this one day, I just didn't think she would fall this hard though. She just simply rolled her eyes at me. I noticed the boys again. They were sitting on the curb watching us. One of them had blonde hair spiked up in the front, a few visible tattoos sprawled across his body. The other one was very attractive for a guy with a ton of tattoos. He had brown curly hair that was tousled on his head. He had a lot more tattoos then the other one but they seemed to stay on his arms then anywhere.

"Those are my friends, Harry & Niall," She said turning to where I was looking. "Niall has blonde hair and Harry has the brown. You'll like Niall, he's sweet." She said.

She didn't say anything about Harry. That means I should stay away from him. He didn't look that bad, but if Lauren is their friend and she doesn't think I should hang around him, then I sure as hell won't. I reminded myself not to swear, then turned my attention back to her. Her tattoos and piercings were more obvious now. Her lip was pierced on the left side, her eyebrow on her right. Her nose had a tiny stud in it, and her ears had small plugs in them. She loved plugs, but she hated the way they look later, so she just stretched them a tiny bit. She didn't have half as many tattoos as her friends, I was glad for that. She just had a few on her hands and hips.

"Katlin. Get over here," I heard my mom yell.

"I'll be over as soon as they leave," She says, meaning her friends waiting for her on the curb.

"Okay. Let yourself in," I told her, though she probably already would.

I turned around to go start the hell of unpacking.
