Kaitlin's POV

I felt Lauren's eyes staring holes through the side of my head. I don't know what she was so mad about, but I wasn't looking forward to finding out. The teacher dismissed us to do our work and I turned to look at Lauren. It only took her about 5 seconds before she began to complain to me. Or discipline me, rather.

"Kaitlin, I told you not to hang around Harry. He's not good for you. He's jus going to use you to get in bed like he does with everyone else an-"

I interrupted her with my scoff and she looked frustrated. Her hand was in a fist on the long science table. I spun in my seat to begin my work, not in the mood to have this conversation with her.

"I'm serious, Kaitlin. I don't want you getting hurt," she says more softly.

"I'm a big girl," I tell her.

"Yes, but if you find out he just used you to get in bed th-"

"Well we've already been in bed, twice, so I don't think you have to worry about me," I fire back with a content look on my face.

He jaw drops and I bite my cheeks so she doesn't see how much I'm enjoying this. Her blinking sped up as she tried to comprehend what I said. She kept opening and closing her mouth but words wouldn't form. She eventually gave up and stared into her paper, deep in thought. Near the end of class she regained her voice and asked,

"Twice?" She asked shakily.

"Mhm," I confirmed.

I wasn't going to tell her we hadn't actually done it, but we have actually slept together twice. I would also leave out the part that the first time I was drunk and I didn't realize it until this weekend that I had slept with him. Nonetheless, I did.

"and he still talks to you?" She asks, in genuine shock.

I nod as I finish my last question. I put my pencil down and pay attention to her. She shook her had, not understanding.

"He told me he wanted a really girlfriend but I didn't think he was serious. I mean that's not like anything Harry would do," she said, mainly to herself.

I chewed on my fingers while I waited for her to finish to herself. She finally gave up and said,

"Something's not right here, and I'm going to find out what it is,"

I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"Seriously, Kaitlin! Can you seriously see him being a boyfriend like Chase could be? Or like Cody was?" She asks.

"Sometimes. I have before, yes, but not here," I say.

"He's not telling me something. What do you guys do after school?" She asks.

"What did he tell you?" I ask, not wanting to give anything away.

"Well, that you guys hungout a few times after school. He thinks your really good at cheer and you've kissed before," she says.

I nod. In a nutshell, that describes my relationship with Harry, so far.

"and you met his mom," she whispered, as if it was a saint.

"What's wrong with his mom?" I defend.

"Nothing. It's just that there's only two people in this school that have met his mom. Niall and I. Three now, because of you. He doesn't let people meet her, ever. I was friends with Harry for a year in a half before I met her," she says.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah, that's why I find this weird. Harry doesn't open up to people easily, yet he's holding himself open for you," she says.

I got that warm feeling that travels up your spine leaving you smiling, that left you wanting more. It ended way too soon but it took effect on my whole body. I couldn't help the smile on my face. I liked the fact that Harry was going to open up to me, especially if it was to no one else.

"I figured this would be no use. Why are you happy about this?" She asks.

"You know I like him," I say.

That was the first time I've said it out loud, and I knew it was true. I'm not sure how I could have denied it any longer. It felt good, actually, saying it out loud. Lauren on the other hand, didn't think so. She was getting very frustrated with me.

"He's dangerous, Kaitlin. Even he will tell you that. Do you think he just has those tattoos for fun? He's broken Kaitlin, and you know that," she says, leaving me quiet "that's your problem Kaitlin. You try to fix things that are broken, but in reality, your broken, and you want them to fix you back. Just don't be surprise when he breaks your heart again, because I won't be there to pick you back up again."

The bell rung and she walked out of the classroom leaving me dumbfounded in my chair.
