Kaitlin's POV

My face lit up at I saw the bright lights of the fair. I turned to Chase and grinned. He smiled back at me.

"How did you know I wanted to go to here?" I squealed.

I was overly excited now. I have wanted to go here for a long time. That's what I missed the most about being in Australia. I've gone to this fair every year, it was a little hard getting here, but I did. I had never gone on a date, though. It actually didn't surprise me, it's not like I haven't told everyone I wanted to go.

"I'm just good like that," he said and chuckled.

I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. He pulled into the parking lot. I glanced at all the rides. I hope he liked the rides I did. As long as we don't go to the ferris wheel, then I'm good. He parked and got out of the car, walking around to open my door. I got out and let him shut the door.

"You don't throw up on spiny rides, do you?" I ask, putting my hands on my hips.

He laughs and shakes his head.

"No, I don't," he says.

"Thank god," I say, spinning around.

"Hey, do you want your phone?" He asked.

I turned to look at him. He was still standing by the door, clearly concerned about the fact that I didn't have my phone.

"No, I don't need it," I said.

He looked surprised, but walked over to join me. I reached over and grabbed his hand. He held my hand in his. I could help but feel uncomfortable, I didn't like holding hands like that, but I ignored it. I was so happy. We walked up to the concession stand where he bought two wristbands. He started to move away.

"Please tell me you know how to put these on," he says.

"I do," I say giggling.

I grab it out of his hand. He watched me as I wrapped it around his wrist.

"I think I got it," he says.

"Here, try it on mine," I say.

"I might mess up," he says laughing.

I watched as his hands fiddled with it but managed to get it. I laughed as he held my wrist up and looked at it.

"It's not that bad," I complimented.

"For a guy," I added and winked.

He scoffed. I stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and grabbed my hand.

"What do you want to go on first?" He asked.

I spun around and looked at everything. I saw the chain swings that I went on last time. I pointed to those and smiled at him. He just smiled back as we walked towards them. The line was short so we got on right away. I waited as the lady pulled the bar down, I wasn't looking forward to falling out of them.

"I hope you know, that these kind of really scare me," I say.

He looked at me and laughed.

"Your scared of these?" He asks.

I nod, my cheeks growing pink.

"I get really dizzy, I don't like heights," I inform him.

He nods, as if to say he understands.

"You'll be alright, I promise," he says.

He puts his arm around the back of the swing and I lean into him as they start moving. Everything sank in at once. The fact that I was at the fair. With Chase. That I was about to be elevated into the air by a swing. I looked around, my hair blowing around. I got butterflies as the swings started leaning to the side. Gravity was slowly pushing be farther into Chase, not that I minded.
