Wash away my sins

The holidays passed and Idina went back to If/Then. She'd been thinking a lot about Kristin which made the first show particularly hard. She had to fight back a lot of tears especially during 'I hate you' and 'You Learn To Live Without'. But she was also somehow glad to let her emotions out because otherwise she'd freak out.
Aaron noticed the change and he felt that something was going on with Idina so when she came home that night he asked her if something was up. "It's nothing, " Idina replied, smiling sadly. Aaron wrapped his arms around her and said "Of course something's up. Idina I know you. You can trust me. Does it have to do with me? I can change it or we can work this problem out together?!!" Idina escaped the embrace. It broke her heart hearing him like that. It reminded her of how much she really loved him and how wrong it was to spend her time thinking about a woman who was miles away and has never been hers anyway. "No Aaron it's not you. I'm just tired. And I miss Walker."  Aaron put his arms around her again. "Honey, you can skype Walker later. I'm sure he's having a great time with his dad. And I suggest you go and take a shower while I prepare us dinner." Idina sighed and forced a smile. "Fine. Thank you Aaron." "No problem." He kissed her on her lips. When she was about to turn around and go to the bathroom he stopped her. "And Idina... you know that you can always come to me and talk, right?!" "Of course" Idina whispered and went to her room to get her pj's. Aaron sighed, he hated seeing his girlfriend so upset.
When Idina stood in the shower she could finally let her tears fall. The water washed them away anyway. And as almost all the  time lately she found herself thinking about Kristin. That one time when she had caught her in the shower.

[Flashback]

All Idina wanted was to get that green makeup off so she could  sign some playbills at the stage door and go home to Taye who promised to take her out on a date that night. She had to admit that she was really looking forward to spending some alone time with him because they didn't have much time together lately.
Idina didn't see Kristin opening the door to her bathroom and  jumped when the little blonde asked: "Idina can I use your shampoo I forgot mine at home." "Gosh Kristin you almost gave me a heart attack!!!!!" She opened her shower door and saw Kristin cheekily grinning at her. "So can I borrow your shampoo?" "I'm pretty sure that that's not why you're here," Idina replied, grinning back. "I really need  shampoo but... you know...I'm already here so we can as well just shower together."  Kristin didn't even wait for a response, undressed herself quickly and stepped in the shower...

[End of flashback]

Idina felt a burning pain. She wished Kristin would be here with her. And soon she realized that the pain was her heart longing to be with Kristin. The only way to end it was to call her favorite blonde and ask her to meet somewhere,  preferably somewhere private....
