What the hell?!

(The next morning)

The smell of coffee and pancakes filled the room. Idina woke up and felt her stomach churn. She ran to the bathroom to throw up.
In that moment Aaron came up the stairs and hears the noises coming from his left. When he saw Idina sitting in front of the toilet bowl, he kneeled down beside her to hold her hair. "Idina are you alright?" She shook her head. "I think I caught the stomach flu." Aaron rubbed her back. "I guess you don't wanna have breakfast then?" "Not really, but maybe later. You put such effort into it." "It's alright. You don't have to if you don't feel like it. Do you want to lay down on the couch? I can prepare you a soup?" "I don't want anything right now. But I'll come downstairs with you!" Aaron helped her up and they went down to the living room.
"You probably ate something bad." "I didn't eat much to be honest." "Well, get some rest. I'll be right here if you need anything." "Thanks, and Aaron, I texted Kristin. She'd love to come for dinner." "Thats great. How about next week?" "We thought about tomorrow maybe." "I don't know if that's a good idea. I mean if you're feeling better tomorrow, she can come." "I'm sure. I'm feeling much better now actually." Aaron laughed. "That was a quick recovery." Idina nodded. "Can I try some of your pancakes?" Aaron smiled. "I have my Idina back. Of course you can." He went into the kitchen to prepare two plates. Seeing Aaron so happy broke Idina's heart. She knew she had to crush his happiness soon to get hers back.
Aaron interrupted her thoughts. "Here you go. Enjoy!" "Thank you. I'll call Kristin later to tell her that she can come tomorrow." "Ok, I can't wait to meet her."

A little bit later Idina called Kristin with Aaron still in the room. Her heart instantly started beating faster when she heard her girlfriend's voice. "Hey
baby." Idina coughed before she started speaking so that Kristin knew that Aaron was in the room and that she couldn't talk to her like she usually would. "Hi Kris, I talked to Aaron. You can come over for dinner tomorrow." "Ok, that's great. So do you miss me?" "Kristin stop."
Kristin knew exactly that Aaron was with Idina but she just loved teasing her. "Hey, Kristin, listen. I need to hang up now. See you tomorrow." "Bye love." Kristin wished they could've talked longer but she reminded herself that she would see Idina soon.
