*Simon's POV*
"Simon, it's time to wake up. Breakfast is downstairs." I heard Mackenzie's voice. I barely opened my eyes and saw her sitting on the edge of my bed, looking down at me. She smiled at me. "Hungry?" She asked. I sighed and stretched, not answering her yet. She didn't budge, and just watched me. "What's for breakfast?" I asked her. "Pancakes." She said, nodding. I nodded in response. "I'll be down in a second." I said, grabbing my phone. She nodded before getting up and walking away. And I was alone. Just like I was last night. I rolled my sleeve up slightly. So it wasn't just a dream. I sighed to myself before getting out of bed. Can't just stop everything. I still have a meet up today. I closed my bedroom door and changed into some black skinny jeans and a black and white 'SDMN' hoodie. I went to the bathroom after. I brushed my teeth and did my hair messily, not really caring too much. And I went downstairs where I heard many voices. Josh, Vik, Kay, Freya, and Mackenzie were all in the kitchen. JJ and Isabella must be at their flat. They had been spending a lot of time here, but ever since the miscarriage they've mostly been staying at their flat. "Good morning." I mumbled, grabbing a plate of pancakes and sitting down at the island. "Now that everyone's here, what are you girls doing today?" Josh asked. I looked up at all of them, only to find Mackenzie staring at me. "Can we go shopping?" Kay asked. Mackenzie looked over at them, away from me. "Or get our nails done? I'm down for that." Freya said, scrunching her face up at her nails. Mackenzie shrugged when everyone looked at her. "C'mon, here must be something you want to do. You can get baby stuff. That would be fun." Kay said. Mackenzie looked down, and just shrugged again. "Or you could come to the meet up with us. I'm sure the fans will be pleased to see you." Vik suggested. Mackenzie looked up, smiling. "Yeah. You go have fun and we'll get all of the stuff you need. We can even pick out a crib!" Freya said excitedly. "Really? You guys don't have to." Mackenzie said, still smiling. "That is our idea of fun. We will get everything you need and have fun while doing it." Kay said. Mackenzie bit her lip nervously. "What about Isabella?" She asked. It was kind of a given that Isabella would be spending the day with them too because JJ would be with us. Along with the rest of the Sidemen. Cal was going to come before his dad passed. The meet up has been scheduled for a while, so we couldn't just change it after everyone bought their tickets and Cal understood that, so he wasn't upset that our lives were continuing as normal. "She's sick, so she's just staying home." Freya said, frowning. Mackenzie nodded, her smile returning. "Wait, we need to know the gender." Kay said. Mackenzie looked at me, and I just shrugged. "It's a girl." Mackenzie said, smiling. "Awww!" Freya and Kay squealed, getting complaints from all of us. Then, they got up from their seats. "We'll meet you guys back here. We have some baby shopping to do." Freya said quickly. And they left without another word. "Holy shit." Vik sighed. "You know what? I'm glad I don't have to go shopping." Mackenzie said, still smiling. "Yeah well, they're not using your credit card." Josh said with an eye roll. "Oh shit. Want me to give them mine?" Mackenzie asked, her eyes wide. "No. Don't worry. My treat." He said, putting a hand on his chest. She smiled, relaxing again. "Josh has more money than you anyways. You're a girl, therefor you get paid less." Vik said jokingly. She raised an eyebrow at him. "Is that why I have twice as many subscribers as you? Because I'm a girl?" She asked, smirking. His face fell and she laughed at him. "Hey!! Anyone home?!" JJ's voice came from outside of the kitchen. "Kitchen!" I yelled back at him. He soon came in with Harry. "You guys ready? It's about time we go." Harry asked, checking his watch. I stood up from my seat and glanced at Mackenzie. She was staring at her feet. She knew Harry liked her, and I feel like that made her uncomfortable. As I put my plate in the sink, I looked over at Harry. He was staring at her and she was completely unaware. It pissed me off and made me feel instantly more protective of her. We weren't together, no, but I love her. And she loves me. Not sure how she does, but she does. I turned around and slung my arm around her, which made Harry look away and her look at me questioningly. When she saw me staring at Harry, she pulled away from me. "Dude, it's okay." She whispered. I sighed. "I mean, I don't blame him. How can you not like all this?" She asked and flipped her hair, smirking. I let out a small laugh. With that, we were on our way.
Soon, we were at the spot of the meet up. We were going to be doing a Q&A with the crowd and Mackenzie was taking Cal's spot hosting the show. We watched from behind the curtain as the seats filled up quickly. My palms were sweating. "Everyone ready?" Mackenzie beamed. She was wearing some black ripped skinny jeans, showing off her leg, which made me happy, and an oversized hoodie. People would obviously see her leg, which made me wonder why she was so eager for this. I gave her a small nod with everyone else. I heard Ethan laugh. All of the guys but me were whispering about something. "Oi, secrets don't make friends." I said, pushing Tobi slightly. I adjusted my mic to where it was in front of my mouth, then rubbed my hands together. "You don't wanna know this secret." Ethan laughed. I rolled my eyes. "Okay guys. Get ready. I'm going out." Mackenzie said, walking past me. She got to the edge of the curtain and clapped her hands in front of herself before disappearing on stage. "What's up everyone?!" Her voice boomed around the building. I heard the crowd cheer. We all turned out mics on and stayed quiet, waiting. "First of all, I want to thank all of you for coming here today! But, you guys didn't come here to hear me talk all day, so I would like to bring out the main attraction....the Sidemen!!" She yelled, the crowd cheering again. And we all jogged out, vlogging cameras in hand. The crowd was unbelievable. It was breathtaking. It was everything I had ever dreamt. I couldn't help but smile as we all took our places on the stage, looking at Mackenzie and waiting for her to continue. "Today, we will be doing a Q&A with you guys." She said, walking to the steps that lead off of the stage. "Please remain where you are and let me come to you." She said. "If you have a question, just raise your hand." She said, walking down the aisle of the seats. Many hands shot up but she went to the closest one. The young girl stood up and Mackenzie put the mic in front of her face, waiting for her question. "What is the real reason you and Simon broke up?" She asked, looking at Mackenzie. Mackenzie froze, but then looked up at me. "Okay. Next question." She said into the mic. The crowd booed. "Okay, okay. I'll tell you the real reason." I spoke up. Now, I had everyone's attention. "Simon's a dick. Can we move on?" Josh said, causing a few laughs. "That is true." Mackenzie agreed. I forced a small smile, nodding in agreement. "Okay. Now next question." She said, turning back around to the crowd. She went over to a short guy probably about her age. "Can you describe what it feels like to have a prosthetic leg?" He asked, looking down at her. She sighed. "It's like walking when your whole leg is asleep." She said, looking down. He asked something else, but not in the mic and she took a step closer to him. He reached out and touched her leg and she was obviously uncomfortable. He smiled, thanking her. She went to the next person with a question. "Are you having a boy or girl?" The next girl asked. Mackenzie smiled. "For fucks sake! Did you guys come here for us or Mackenzie?!" JJ yelled with a laugh, causing the crowd to laugh. "It's a girl! Moving on." Tobi yelled. I watched as she smiled, moving on to the next person. After that, we actually got some questions for us. It was really fun. We ended up extending the stone for a whole two hours, which no one seemed to mind. When we left there, we went to Nandos. Today was an amazing day. Sure was a lot better then yesterday.
