"Can you please shut the fuck up?! My head hurts!" I yelled through my headset. "Then why are you yelling?" Josh asked. We were recording GTA and I wasn't in the best mood. "Fuck of Josh." I mumbled. "Can we just take a moment to think about something for a second? Mackenzie is bipolar and with pregnancy mood swings, she is going to burn the house down like fucking Carrie." Vik said. "Say shit like that then yeah." I said, taking Ethan out. "Don't fucking take it out on me you sket!" He yelled. "Don't be in my way when I'm pissed off!" I yelled in response. Everyone else just laughed. "Shit. Now she's going to catch up. Go Josh!" Simon said, laughing. I stayed quiet. "Guys! I'm not last!" JJ said excitedly. "Yeah I am because of that prick." Ethan mumbled. I giggled. "Why do we say 'got the boost boys' with Mackenzie here?" Vik asked. "He's doing that thing again." I whined. "What thing?" Simon asked. "Talking." I said, smirking. "Oh, fuck off." Vik said while everyone laughed. "No, seriously, why do we say that? Mackenzie's not a boy." JJ said over everyone's laughter. "Hey! You guys have invited me to officially be a part of the Sidemen before, I live with a bunch of guys, apparently I sleep with all of you, why not be just one of the guys?" I asked. "Wait what?!" Ethan yelled, laughing. "A lot of people think I sleep with you guys." I said, narrowing my eyebrows in concentration. "That's fucking disgusting." Josh said. "Thanks Josh." I said sarcastically. "You know what I mean." He said.
After our recording session, I went downstairs to get something to eat. I was eating some leftover pizza when I heard a knock on the front door. I went to open the door slowly. It could've been fans, so I was kind of excited. When I opened the door, there was a short girl with long black hair standing there. She had a big bag beside her. I had no idea how old she could be, but she looked young. "Hi?" I said, raising an eyebrow. "Umm...is Vik here?" She asked. "Are you going to kill him?" I joked, trying to kill the awkwardness. Her eyes widened. "Uh..no-I-" she started. "I'm joking. Come in." I said, stepping out of her way. She slowly walked in the house. She looked nervous. "Vik! You have company!" I yelled up the stairs. He soon emerged at the top of the stairs and looked down. "Elizabeth!" He yelled, running down the stairs. I raised my eyebrows at them while they hugged. When the hug was over, he turned to me. "Mackenzie, this is my sister, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, this is my friend Mackenzie who lives here." He explained. I stuck my free hand out, taking a bite of my pizza. "Is that my Domino's?" He asked. "Nope." I lied, quickly swallowing. "I never knew you had a sister." I said, looking back at Elizabeth. "She was adopted and decided to come visit her favorite brother." Vik said, putting his arm over her shoulders. "Aye! Adopted squad!" I said, reaching out for a high five. She was staring at me, well at my prosthetic, and completely ignored my high five. "Too soon? Okay. So, will she be staying with us?" I asked Vik, dropping my hand to my side. Vik thumped her ear and she stopped staring at me, and looked up at him, looking guilty. "Yeah. For like a week." He said. I nodded. "She can have my room if she wants." I shrugged. "You sure?" Vik asked. "Yeah. Living room is closer to the kitchen anyways." I smirked. "Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can eat all of our food." He sighed. "Yes it does." I said, turning towards the stairs. "Tell Simon and Josh to come down please." Vik said. I gave him a thumbs up because I had my mouth full. I walked to Josh's room and lightly knocked. "Yeah?" I heard his muffled voice. I opened the door to see him at his desk. "Vik wants you downstairs. His sister is here." I said. I saw him raise and eyebrow and I just shrugged, leaving for Simon's room. I lightly knocked on Simon's door and didn't get a response, so I knocked harder. "What?" He said loudly. I opened the door slowly. He was on the phone with someone and when he saw me his eyes softened. He looked pissed, sort of. "Um...everything okay?" I asked quietly. He slowly nodded. "Vik wants you downstairs." I said. He nodded in response and I left him alone, shutting the door behind me. I turned around to see Josh going down the stairs. I reached for my phone in my pocket to realize it was gone. I sighed. I must've left it in the kitchen. I heard Simon's door open behind me and I stepped out of his way. "Why does Vik want us?" He asked, beginning to walk down the stairs. I turned to look at him, look into his eyes. He held my gaze for only a moment, but looked away. My heart squeezed. Few things hurt worse than looking into the eyes of someone you love, and them looking away. I have come to the terms that I was still in love with Simon these past few days. He said he was in love me with the night I found him in the bathroom, but I don't trust him. That hurts. What's worse than being lied to in that whole situation is knowing that I just can't trust him again. "Uh..his sister is here." I said, taking a step towards the stairs. He nodded slowly, obviously confused. I walked down the stairs, to the kitchen with my eyes glued to the ground. "Hey, I'm Simon." I heard Simon say before I sighed and leaned on my elbows on the counter. "Now that we have introductions out of the way, let's take a tour." I heard Vik say, his voice coming towards me. I straightened up, watching the door. Him and Elizabeth walked in, and she was talking quietly to him and he chuckled lightly, but just shook his head after. "So, this is the kitchen. This is where Mackenzie always is when she's not in her room." Vik said. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Not sure if a sexist joke or a fat joke." I said, still squinting at him. He smirked, leading Elizabeth out again. I heard a bark, telling me Zeus had just met Elizabeth, then a small squeal. He must've scared her. I jogged towards them, in the living room now. "Zeus! Knock it off!" I yelled, pointing at him. He cocked his head to the side, sitting down. "Wanna go outside?" I asked him. His ears perked up at the words. I walked to the sliding glass door and slowly opened it, making him eager. He loved being outside. A lot of the times, he just ran around the perimeter of the fence, barking at nothing. "Sorry about that." I said, closing the door after he ran out. Elizabeth stared at the ground. She must be really shy. Like I was. How I used to be. I smiled at the memory, staring to get lost in my thoughts. It's almost unbelievable how I came from there to here. Internet famous, happy, pregnant even. I looked down, listening to Vik's fading voice, and sighed. Although I've been through a lot, I still have so much more to get through.
