3 months later...

I checked the time noticing it was only 1. All the kids were at school, since Kaiden always provided for me I never continued to peruse my dreams. 

Ryan - open the door baby girl 

I smiled and got up from my computer and headed to the front door.

"Sup best friend" He said pulling me into a hug. 

"Hey Ry" I smiled hugging him back.

I opened the door wider offering him to walk in.

"Where's the kids at?"

"School silly, ain't that where you should be?"

"Friday's are my day's off sis" He chuckled.

The word sis made me cringe, Ry was a beautiful tall and dark chocolate man. We met when I was taking Ky to nursery and he was dropping off his niece also. I mean I love the bond we have but when will all these dates stop and he just claims me already?

"Oh yeah" I said sitting in front of my computer again.

"Hell no" He said closing it. "You finna get the kids when the time is right, drop them at ya mums and we finna go out"

"Ry..."

"Paris..." He mocked.

I pouted causing him to smile.

"Come on girl, we been cooling it for 3 months, been going on breakfast and lunch dates, lemme take you out to dinner" 

I looked up in his eyes seeing nothing but honesty.

"Fine Ry, but if this date flops we just gonna have to stick to breakfast and lunch"

"Yeah yeah sis, you know I got you" He said nudging me playfully.

I smiled.

"So what you even doing on that laptop?"

"Following my dreams, all my kids are in full time education and I just want to be able to focus on me now ya know?"

"What about your kids father?"

"What about him? I haven't seen him in 3 months and I plan on it staying like that" I said shrugging. "I don't know what he gets up to or what he's doing" 

He nodded understanding. 

"I hear that, this why I want to treat you, to help you focus on you as you call it" He teased playfully.

I shook my head.

"Boy please, I got a whole package on my back you've only met Kyran, I've got 2 twin sons and a daughter and older step daughter" I said raising my eye brow.

He raised his eyebrow challenging too.

"Something I can deal to handle"

"And I normally always have my god  babies Aj and Aria round"

He smiled.

"I love kids" He said shrugging.

"Ry I just don't know about dinner"

"Don't let your past ruin your present, I won't be a dead beat that gets you in trouble like your kids father or abuse a beautiful woman like your old relationship" He said sincerely.

I looked in his eyes noticing nothing but the truth. I was just scared.

"Fine, Ryan I will give it a chance but know if this date or any other dates go wrong I got peple watching over me" I said closing my laptop.
