.::Kaiden::.

I brushed Paris hair out her face while she held me.

"I love you Kaiden"

"Fore real?"

She kissed her teeth.

"I know you do baby and I love you too" I said kissing her forehead.

I haven't proposed because I don't think its the right time. I could hear my phone faintly vibrate.

"Better not answer it" Paris mumble.

I chucked leaving it but it rang again causing her to sigh. 

"Lemme just see who it is"

She sat up and I stretched and checked my phone.

"15 missed calls dang" I mumbled. "Hello?"

I closed my eyes wishing I didn't just hear what I did.

"Kaiden, baby what's wrong?"

I threw my phone and sat there starring blankly into space.

"Who was it? What's going on?"

"We need to go hospital" I said getting up and instantly getting dressed.

Paris was still panicking but got dressed anyways.

"Kaiden please tell me what's going I'm scared"

"Kim is in hospital" I mumbled.

Her eyes grew with a gape at her lips. She took my hand and we rushed out the house and into the car. One hand was on the wheel and the other was holding Paris's hand. Luckily both our mums were still there sleeping in the spare rooms. Once we got to the hospital I sat there blankly.

"Come on Kai, you can do it, I'm here for you" Paris said rubbing her thumb over my hand.

I looked at her slowly smiling faintly.

"I don't know what I would do without you" I mumbled.

"Ditto" She said kissing my hand.

We both got out the car then headed into the hospital.

.::Ryan::.

"Shhh lil man, you got me" I said hushing Nathan.

"Dad where we going?" 

"We going away for a while" I said rubbing Malachi's head.

He smiled faintly.

"Flight 140 now ready to be boarded"

"That's us" I mumbled.

Nat calmed down finally as we walked towards our flight. My heart started racing but this was it, she wanted a break so I'm going.

"You sure mum said we can go?" Kharim asked.

"You trust me?" 

Both him and Kameron nodded. I smiled as Malachi picked up Kyran as we boarded the flight.

.::Paris::.

"Sir what relations do you have with the patient?"

"She;s my sons mum" Kaiden mumbled.

"Mr Kaiden Brown?" She double checked.

"That's him, can we just get some info now?" I growled.

She looked a little taken back but didn't say nothing and just told us to wait in the waiting room.

"You so straight forward" Kaiden said chuckling slightly.

"That's me" I said smiling.

Anything to keep I'm smiling, I held is hand and he leaned his head on my shoulder as we waited for the doctor to come out. 

3 hours later...

"Mr Brown" The doctor said approaching us.

"Please say she's okay doc" He said nervously.

"She's fine now, the bullet was removed and she's recovering slowly" 

I smiled feeling Kaiden squeeze my hand slightly.

"Can we go see her?" 

"Room 125" He said smiling before walking away.

We walked down the hall and knocked on the door before walking in.

"You told me to keep myself safe what about you?" Kaiden said walking over to Kim.

She smiled at me then sighed.

"Kaiden it was better one of us get hurt than the both of us" She said lowly.

"Man, where's Nat?"

She scrunched her face up.

"I thought you heard about it then came to get him"

My heart stared racing seeing Kaiden's face change.

"You telling me you don't know where our son is?" He asked trying to calm down.

Her face went dark.

"Ryan..." She yelled. "No, where's yall kids?"

Soon as she said that my phone rang.

"Mum? Calm down" I said.

What she said next made me drop my phone.

"What? Paris what?" Kaiden asked pacing the room.

"The twins and Kyran ain't in their beds" I cried out.

"Where's he taking my kids?"

Kim wiped her eyes.

"He killed Monroe in front of me before shooting me"

Me and Kaiden whipped round looking straight at Kim.

"What?" We both said at the same time.
