I opened my eyes wide looking up at the white light over my head.
"Am I dead?" I mumbled.
I heard a chuckle and looked over seeing Andre.
"Your not dead P, you just ill, very ill man" He said as if he was going to cry.
"What's wrong with me?" I asked sitting up slowly.
"They said its nothing serious, you got influenza but because you haven't treated it its made you like this, although the illness is only suppose to last for 2 weeks its going to last longer for you" He sighed.
He looked at me as if he had something else to say.
"Tell me" I mumbled.
He looked down then back at me then stood up.
"Its better if Kaiden talks to you"
"I don't want to talk to Kaiden Dre tell me"
He shook his head then walked over to me and kissed my forehead.
"He needs to talk to you"
I looked at the seriousness in his face and nodded. He smiled then left the room and imdiantly Kaiden rushed in to my side.
"Baby" He said looking down at me.
His face full of tears, his eyes red and puffy, his face red, his hands trembled as he held mine. I rolled my eyes.
"Don't call me that"
"You could have died and you here arguing with me about calling you baby?"
I sighed.
"Can you just tell me what's wrong" I said looking away.
He let got of my hands and sat down on the bed caressing my cheek.
"You remember that night we spoke and held each other and ended up sleeping together?"
"You gave me a STD" I yelled.
"No...I gave you twins" He said looking down.
"More twins?" I said smiling.
His smile was faint and more tears left his eyes.
"1 out of 2"
I looked at him confused.
"Due to your illness, one child didn't make it and if your not careful the other one won't either" He said wiping his eyes.
I covered my mouth, hands trembling and tears streaming down my face. I lost one of my babies because I'm selfish.
"My mum was right" I said wiping my face.
"About what?" He asked looked up at me slowly.
"She said I was selfish and because of that I lost one of my babies"
"Now is not the time to do the blame game Paris you just need rest" He said caressing my cheek again.
I laid my head gently in his hand and kissed it.
"I love you Kaiden"
