Chapter Song: Slipknot - Snuff (I don't like Slipknot. But I love this song.)

I charged forward.

Juby flew off of my shoulder, still glowing in my own light. I couldn't see him, because I wouldn't allow myself to turn my head. I jumped up on the surface of the table, shaking the plates and silverware and taking off in a full-on sprint to the other end of the table. The Dark Angels visibly tensed up and began to charge right back at me. A large amount got onto the table to address me. Which, in my uncontrollable mind, I thought was amusing.

A ball of light and energy came at me and an adrenaline coursed through my veins as the part of me that I don't even like thinking about was able to do as it wished at the moment. I reached my hand out, laughing with pure excitement and felt something hit my hand, then the ball of energy smacked back into the Dark Angel directly in front of me. He screamed out in agony, before being blasted off of the table.

One had come up from behind me and tried to grab me, but there was a vicious "CHOMP!" and as I turned, I saw Juby. He'd doubled in sized, making him about as big as a pitbull would be. His back hunched, spiky red fur raising up along his back, his ears, which were long and perky like a rabbit's, were not two huge, deadly spikes on his head. His beady eyes were still beady, but with a singular red dot in the very center of the black mass.

I had turned Juby into something uncontrollable too?

Juby bit down onto the Dark Angel's leg and jerked, tossing the guy over his back and onto the floor with a loud smack. Juby didn't look at me and dived right into the crowd, causing people to shout and stumble away.

My insane self was enjoying the show, I could tell by the way my heart was thudding. "Atta boy, Juby!" I called to him, in a crackling voice. I went back to managing the Dark Angels displayed before me. "Better run, run, run as fast as you can!" I cackled at myself, like it was some kind of joke. But I think I was really laughing because of the fear on their faces when I said that. I was afraid too, I didn't like this side of myself.

"Don't just stand there!" The blonde one yelled up at them. "Attack her!"

They looked between their captain then back at me. I smirked and fell down to my hands and feet, much like the first time. I growled a very animal-like growl and clenched my jaw tight, before surging forward, hands and feet, forward. I dived forward, like Juby had done and sunk my teeth into the Dark Angel's neck. I felt the blood in my mouth and the primal side of me loved the taste. I cringed internally.

I released my jaw from around his neck when I felt a harsh kick to my side, which caused me to slip and fall off the table. People began to flood around me, kicking me and punching me and using whatever they could to harm me. My jaw clenched tight at the pain, before I raised my fist into the air and rammed it back into the floor, the ground quaked underneath us and they all fell back, feet in the air, heads down to the ground. Satisfied, I rose back to my feet, well hands and feet, and inhaled deeply, then letting it all out again.

What came out was a blast of energy and what I could only describe as misery.

There were so many voices in my ears, voices I knew didn't belong to the Dark Angels. These voices were strangled, they were calling out, yelling, screaming. I could even see them.

Ghostly apparitions standing all around me, their eyes were black holes, they were all skin and bones, reaching their hands to me. I let them grab me and hold me there. I couldn't even touch them. But I could feel them. Their hands were grabbing, pulling, shoving. They screamed in my ear, they whispered in their shaky voices.

Who are they?

"Retreat!" The blonde yelled to the Dark Angels when the hole in the wall came into view. I had just killed so many of the Dark Angels along that area and blasted a huge hole in the wall. I was snarling and drooling, blood was dripping from my nose.
