Chapter Song: James Blunt - You're Beautiful

This is just going to be a Chapter dedicated to a scene to Myrina and Erin. :) I figured I might as well try and spice up their relationship just a bit.

Being the Pariah has its many downsides.

First, you grow up without a mother or a father to care for you. Then, you have to find out that you're the savior of a dying world, that is being run by your evil father and then finally meet your mother during the end of the world. Not to mention all of the other bullshit stuff you have to go through as well. But I won't get into that right now.

But being the Pariah and in the beginning of a war, in the community completely dedicated to the Rebellion, you get one good thing out of it.

The best damn room in the fanciest building in the entire city.

Now, in my life, I wasn't ever really respected. I came out in my homophobic school, I got tattoos when I was just barely legal, and I openly drank and smoked in front of younger, more influential kids. I'm not saying that wasn't my bad, but I'm not saying that I would get any sorts of respect even if I apologized. Unless I repent for my sins, remove all the tattoos (which is very painful, I hear) and tell all the kids to never drink or to do drugs. Not that I did drugs, I wasn't that dumb.

Anyway, point is, I wasn't really respected. But as we rolled up to this fancy hotel, with the Ambassador, I could tell already that this was going to be very interesting.

We pull up and the door is opened for us. I step out and shoulder my bag, when a bust boy comes out of nowhere and takes my bag off my shoulders, before bowing low to me and muttering a formal, "White Fox," before vanishing into the hotel.

Myrina takes my hand and waggles her eyebrows at me. "Looks like you're popular."

"Yeah, or the one that's supposed to save them." I whisper back.

"Follow me, please," the Ambassador heads inside the hotel and we both follow her inside. "I've scheduled the room for you in advance. You should have everything you need in the room for you already. Don't worry about payment and if there's anything you need, just ring the front desk and they'll get to you right away. Also, tomorrow morning, there's another meeting I want you to attend to."

"Another meeting?" I question, looking at the Ambassador out of the corner of my eye.

"Yes. Luckily, my Spy Master was able to get a hold of a man that I think will be very useful for us in this war." As we headed toward the elevator, I could see a group of familiar faces on the first floor, being checked in. I waved at Bella when our eyes met and she jerks her chin back at me before the elevator doors close and we're going up to the top floor. "Unfortunately, in this war, not all of us are Angels, therefor it makes it harder for us normal beings to strike in the sky. Cerberus's army is entirely made up of undead Angels, so he has nothing to worry about when it comes to air strikes."

"So what's your plan?" I ask the Ambassador.

"My plan is to create something Cerberus would be a fool to mess with." She tells me. "But we're going to need help and a lot of it."

"I understand." When don't we need help?

The elevator dings and it says we're on the very top floor. The doors open and reveals a room that I can only describe as breathtaking.

The floor is entirely made of marble stone, there's columns leading down the three steps to the rest of the room. The bed is made neatly and looks to die for, as it stands like a trophy in the sunken floor. A door leads to a terrace and we could see the city lights lighting up through the glass. A fancy, gold vanity was resting by the bathroom door and I could see nearby that there was a white piano by the double glass doors leading out to the terrace.
