"This storm is gonna put a dent in our arrival!" Maybelle shouts over the gusting wind that was tearing through the ship.

My hands were holding on tight to the rope of the sail, along with many other guard's of the Snow Region and hunters of Maybelle. It pulled hard and we all go flying across the deck.

I hear my metallic arm clanking on the hard wood floor of the dock.

The rope goes whistling outwards, flailing about on the dock. I quickly extend my metallic hand and grab it. I can feel the heat in what's left of my left arm growing on the end of my metallic contraption. Several hunters reach to grab the rope with me to keep it from getting lost in the dark clouds of the storm.

Several hours earlier, we had crossed the threshold of the Sphyrix, into the Haven. We were currently trying to survive the rest of the trip through. We had arrived right in the middle of a vicious storm that rocked the sea and made the sky crackle with electricity and thunder.

My clothes were soaked as well as my hair. The rest of the crew were struggling to keep the ship afloat.

The rope I was holding onto gets jerked hard and all the crew members let go, knowing that it was too much and we couldn't tug on this thing unless we wanted to get tugged with it. But of course, I didn't listen.

Nope, I go flying overboard.

The rope flails harshly in the wind as I hit the water with a loud splash, then as I sink in the darkness, everything gets silent.

"Erin!" Someone yells on board. "She's overboard!"

I feel my head come back to the surface for just a brief moment to gather some air. Then I'm plunged back under by a large wave.

As I was struggling to swim back up, a suffocating pain strikes me. One that was even worse than last night. My teeth grit hard in my jaw, and I reach up and grab at my head with both hands, like it will somehow make the pain disappear.

This was bad.

Not because I'm sinking in the water in a storm. But because this pain was worse than ever. And it was painful. More painful than anything I've ever felt. The strumming in my chest feels like someone was grabbing a hold of my heart strings and pulling, to see how far they could stretch before they snapped.

When I open my eyes, I see something swimming at me. But with the mix of the pain making my senses go haywire and the water filling my eyes, I couldn't tell what it was.

Then it takes me.

The construction of the portal was nearly complete now.

I had very little time to figure out how the hell to stop this. I catch sight of the Dark Angels coming in to bring in more metal and parts for the building of the massive portal. And I get an idea.

After following the stream of workers, they led me to them scrounging the tall buildings. They were taking whatever they could find and bringing it back to the construction site. I knew what I had to do. Somehow, I had to cut off this supply.

Getting in was the easy part, since everyone thought I was just another Dark Angel doing my duty. But the hard part was being able to find a way to bring this place to the ground. People were using power saws to chop up the metal and brick inside the building walls. I searched the area for a tool strong enough. Then I heard a loud beep.

I turn out the window and see a large crane hoisting the large metal beams from the building, before resting it on the ground beside the workers below, for them to bring back to the construction site.
