The salty air filled my lungs putting me in a numb state, the water tickled the tip of my toes. The early morning hours are quiet and I could feel just a slight breeze hitting my open skin.
California is beautiful this time of the day with the sun just making its first appearance on the horizon. I was enjoying the view for the past hour and I knew we had to go back. Elijah wanted to come here to talk to some guy named Russell about the book, I didn't want to join them so I decided to come to the beach while he was busy having his chat.
According to Russell the man that is hunting for the book is in Russia, but he is planning on coming here himself to get the book. I am really not sure how we can protect the book from this man any further then we are already doing.

Back at the shop we were going through some of the journals that my grandparents wrote. We had to find the Witch who cast a spell on the book when my grandparents first got the book. According to Russell during the witch trials in early modern Scotland there was a witch that could cast a spell to make an object invisible to all except the person in it belongs to.
" I think I found something." Elijah jumps up from the couch to come sit next to me. I take the book and try to decipher my grandmother's handwriting.
"Scotland 1563... we have the book and the only person I know who can help us is Raven Black. She lives in a small town by the name of Penicuik, and she is one of the witches that are in hiding. We went to her and she was so happy to see us and so were we, I haven't seen her for a couple of years now. I explained the whole story to her and why we are there. She immediately knew what spell she wanted to cast to help us. She cast a spell that if anyone touches the book they will land into a deep slumber and after sometime end up in limbo, except the two of us..."
"That is the Witch we need Paisley." Elijah looked at me. "When do you want to leave?" I asked him closing the journal and getting up. "I think first thing tomorrow morning" he gestured to his watch and I saw it was already 21:19 pm, it was late and I could feel the sudden exhaustion overpowering me.
The next morning I met up with Elijah at the shop. "Good morning beautiful" Elijah greeted me as I walked into the store room. I gave him a smile and a little wave "Morning Elijah".
We started to get everything ready to head all the way back to Scotland 1563. This was going to be one of the most interesting travels I have done till date. We lit the candles and stood in the circle next to each other. I looked up at him and he took my hand and smiled "are you ready?" he asked me, I nodded my head and off we went.
"We got home again with the book after Raven cast the spell. I am so grateful for what Raven has done for us. Without the spell we won't be able to protect the book, so as we got back I went to the safe under the wooden floor and locked the book away. As I turn around I saw little Paisley standing by the door "granny what are you putting in the floor?" she asked me with a curious look on her face. I turned and walked to the door turning her around with one hand and closing the door with the other and I whisper into her right ear "you will soon find out my little angel"...
