Haruhi's little sister

Chapter 2

Hey guys I know the first chapter was depressing. How about a non depressing chapter? Comments always welcome! Here we go...

*Haruhi's pov*

I woke up early I was excited that she was finally home. I turned off my alarm so as not to wake her. I heard the door close and I ran out and told my dad to be quiet. He looked at me like I had gone nuts.

I lead him to my room and he saw Mai still asleep. He started to cry he was so happy. He went and shook her shoulder to wake her. I went and stood next to my bed so she knew I was here.

She slowly woke up and saw dad. She looked scared then realized it was dad. "PAPA!!!!!!!" She yelled excitedly. She hugged him and cried. Dad pulled me into the hug.

After a while we pulled apart. I left to go make breakfast and dad went to bed. Mai came out and watched me cook, she started talking to me about random stuff. Mainly about how much she missed us. I told her we missed her too and that I would take her clothes shopping. She looked happy and danced around the room. I giggled and gave her a plate of food.

After we finished eating I got dressed and we left to go get her clothes. I know I had school but I had to get her clothes and she had just gotten home. I have a reason. We had gotten to the store and a half hr later we walked out with some clothes for her. We went and got lunch and talked until she said "wait, don't you have school today big sis?"

I told her I did but I could go in later. Not really going to because dad is sleeping and no one could take care of her. I wasn't going to leave my baby sister alone.

We walked back home, her holding my hand tightly. We went into my room and I made room for her to put her clothes.

*time skip*

It was about after club activities when I heard a knock at the door. Mai looked a mix between scared and curious. I opened the door and there was the host club. I face palmed. Mai came up behind me and hid behind my legs holding her panda.

"Hi Mai-chan how are you doing?" Honey-Sendai asked. "I'm okay" she said in a small voice giving him a small smile. I picked her up and put her on my hip, she nuzzled her face into the crook of my neck. I rubbed her back soothingly.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked slightly irritated. "Oh Haruhi who is this little princess?" Tamaki started. I glared at him and sighed  "how about you come in so I can explain" I led them inside.
