The Plan

*Karou's pov*

Hikaru finally showed up to the changing rooms, then again he had to go get Mai. He hands her over to me as the others come in and grabs a package. Mori walks in carrying Haruhi and Honey bouncing infront of him. Mori sets her down and Hikaru shoves a package into her handans then Honey pushes her into the changing room. I set Mai down and she goes over to Honey "a little accident towards the end of the night could be quite thrilling, and remember Haruhi there are only 20 minutes remaining until the party reaches its climax. Suzashima is already waiting for you in the classroom across the hall." Kyoya says as shes changing. She finally comes out in her dress, she looks pretty, and sits down in the chair so Hikaru and I can do her makeup.

"You have to ask him how he feels, okay?" I hear Honey say from the floor, Mai is standing next to Mori hugging her panda and looking confused as to how Haruhi walked out with long hair, shes so cute. I pull my focus back to finishing up Haruhi's makeup so the plan will continue. I feel a little uneasy about this plan tho.

"uh we know this is the bosses strategy but its kind of unsettling" I say in unison with Hikaru. Just as we are finishing up Haruhi's makeup Tamaki bursts in. "gentlemen, here you all are, what are you doing? The guests are waiting fo..." He stops mid sentence looking at Haruhi, his face turns bright red, its kinda funny.

Hikaru and I slide behind him and asks what he thinks. Honey says she looks so cute, she does, "my face feels heavy and its hard to walk in these shoes" she says as she waddles out of the room in her heels. "good luck Haruhi" Hikaru and I say, "good luck big sis!" Mai yells after Haruhi. The rest of us coo at how cute that was.

Boss is still hunched over and red-faced "I can't believe, she's so pretty" Mai looks over and glares at him. He sobers up and starts stuttering "I'm just saying she looks good in girls clothes. Not to say that she isn't pretty when she dresses as a guy, well I mean then its handsome I guess, the point is shes always pretty." He blushes harder as he stumbles over his words. Mai starts laughing and says he looks like a tomato, her comment only makes his face redder. Hikaru and I both roll on the floor laughing.

*Haruhi's pov*

I walked out of the changing room and into the hall hearing them call out "good luck Haruhi"then a tiny "good luck big sis!" I had to smile at that, shes so cute. I wipe the smile off of my face as I enter the classroom.

"You're the one who wrote this letter? You're totally different from what I imagined" Suzashima said standing by the window. "letter?" what letter? why couldn't they have at least told me this. I read the letter and cringe, who wrote such a stupid letter? Probably the twins. "s'cuse me but have we met somewhere before?" oh no "uh, no this is the first time I've ever talked to you" I say hoping he can't sense my nervousness.

"I'm sorry, I'm flattered by your letter but I'm afraid I don't feel the same way. You see, another girl already has my heart" He says "oh, well I didn't know you had a girlfriend" I say trying to sound normal, cmon play it cool, you got this.

"unfortunately she's not my girlfriend, in fact I think shes completely over me, in all honesty she'd be happier with someone more self confident than me. That's why I've decided to change, see the world, hopefully become a better man, I know it's selfish but I wonder if she'll wait for me" He says pouring out his feelings about Kanako.

"you're right that is pretty selfish of you" oops that slipped out, gotta fix it "but maybe she would wait , you'll never know without telling her how you feel. You obviously have strong feelings for her so why not go ahead and talk to her. I think once you decide to change then you've already begun your transformation"

Kanako walks in and sees us together. She tears up "I'm so sorry I don't mean to interrupt you two I just..." and she runs away sobbing. He then runs after her yelling her name. Oh so I guess this was the plan, make him realize his true feelings, use me to make her jealous then get him to run after her.

Tamaki walks out from behind the door and I tell him "I think we just made matters worse" "But he did go running after her." I realize that he has a point and I smile. Its our responsibility of the elite Ouran Host Club to make every girl happy.

*Mai's pov*

I go back to the party with the other hosts, dancing with the ladies in my sister's place, they don't mind tho, because I'm cute.

Suzashima runs after Kanako into the courtyard and grabs her wrist, I think he's gonna tell her he loves her. Suddenly spotlights turn on and are pointed at them. They look around confused until they hear a voice. We all make our way to the balcony for the announcement "ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for us to begin the final dance of this evening's festivities. The last waltz of the night has been chosen by the host club for this couple." I try to look through the bars and over the railing to see whats going on but I can't see. Mori sees me trying to see over the railing and picks me up to put me on his shoulder so I can see. I give him a big smile and thank him.

Suzashima bows to Kanako and asks to dance, and she says yes! The plan worked! I hear him confess his love to her tells her that he wants her to be his wife and I get all happy, they deserve to be happy. I also hear that this marks the end of her host hopping days.

"May this awkward couple be forever blessed." I hear Tamaki say, I look over to where all of the talking is coming from. Nice almost taking off my sister's head you butt. I see one of the twins (I think Hikaru) standing behind him with a... banana peel? oh no, wait this could be funny, I know what banana peels mean, the tv shows have taught me. Payback for almost taking my sister's head off. "and now we will announce the queen of the ball..." "congratulations Princess Kanako" the other twin finishes (I think Karou).

Everyone applauds for the winner "and for her reward, a kiss on the cheek from the king" one twin says "are you ready?" ooohhhhhhh I see where this is going, this should be fun. "Haruhi Fujioka will stand in for Tamaki" the other finishes. called it. Big sister and Tamaki freak out... hahahahahaahahahaha... I mean oh no, a plot twist... nah this is too funny hahahahaha. The twins say "Kyoya did say that an accident towards the end of the night might make the night more thrilling for everyone" I hear big sis through my giggles say "there's no way I can kiss her" "if you do it we will cut your debt by one third" Kyoya says "well it is just a peck on the cheek" she says then walks down the stairs.

Aaaannnndddd here comes the banana peel. I hear Honey say "you don't think this is Haru-chan's first kiss do you?" Tamaki starts freaking out. They look to me and I shrug "I don't know" big sis gets to Kanako and Tamaki starts running to pull her away. But he slipps on the banana peel hahahahahahahahahaha. And oopsie there's a kiss on the lips. "Well Kyoya did say that an accident towards the end of the night might make the night more thrilling for everyone"

Big sister and Kanako jump away from each other and the girls start fangirling with... hearts in their eyes? How? Big sister smiles to play it off as an accident. hahahahahahahaha. The twins look over to see me laughing and they come over to give me a high five, Mori then hands me to Karou. When big sister sees the three of us laughing our butts off she half glares half smiles and ruffles my hair and I swat her hands away giggling. Tamaki still stands at the bottom of the stairs probably freaking out on the inside.

The party ends soon after all of that and we all go home for the night. Today wasn't so bad after all. It was pretty funny.
