Haruhi's little sister

Chapter 5

Hey guys!

*Mai's pov*

I am so nervous for school today. Haruhi left a few minutes  ago. I walked into class and the teacher introduced me to the class. I said that I hope we could be friends, and I have a cute face holding my panda.

I sat next to a girl with long orange hair. Asuna, she was very sweet. Next to her sat Kirito. Kirito was nice but a bit cold and confused.

I sat with them at lunch, we talked for a while. We agreed to sit with each other every day.

Today was a great day.

After class I waited by my classroom with my friends. Kirito's brother Knasuto came over. He looked to be in Haurhi's grade. I asked him if he knew Haruhi. He said he did, they are in the same class.

Haruhi came over and greeted Knasuto. She asked me if I was ready to go. I nodded, we got half way there and I got tired. I pulled on her sleeve and motioned to be picked up. She giggled and picked me up. I soon drifted off to sleep.

*Haruhi's pov*

We got about half way to the club room when I felt a tug on my sleeve. I looked down and my baby sister was motioning to be picked up.

I giggled and picked her up and put her on my hip. She soon fell asleep resting her head on my shoulder.

When we arrived at the club room I opened the door and everyone stared at me. I apologized for being late explaining that I had to pick up my baby sister.

The girls thought it was so cute. They were awing and kept complimenting how cute she was. I lay her down on the couch next to me with her head in my lap. I talked with the girls quietly. Not even 20 minutes later Mai woke up.

She looked around frantically then her eyes found me and she hugged me crying. I hugged her close and rubbed her back soothingly. The girls stared at us in awe. They kept staring at us with a look I knew all too well.

Honey came over and told her not to cry. She stopped crying and looked over at him. He offered her a pice of cake, she smiled and took the cake.

Mai was sitting in my lap happily eating her cake. The girls asked her questions like how is it being my little sister. She giggled and answered all of their questions.

Kyoya said that Hosting hours are over but to come by tomorrow. The girls asked if they could request me tomorrow and if my sister would be there. She nodded and said if it's okay with the other hosts.

Tamaki and Kyoya nodded and so did the other hosts. My sister smiled and giggled happily. She was happy to be able to spend more time with me.

If my sister is happy then I'm happy.
