Haruhi's little sister

Chapter 6

*Mai's pov*

I'm so happy I get to spend more time with big sister! I can go hang out with her and those nice ladies tomorrow and the next day!

The club was over and I wanted to go home but Haruhi had a meeting. I got to sit and eat cake and draw. Big sister was finally done and told the twins to drop dead. They laughed and asked if she wanted a ride home. She said no and grabbed my hand and we left.

We were walking home with Tamaki, Honey, and Mori. I couldn't stop talking about how school was. Suddenly I froze. It's him, no no no no no. It can't be, I ran away. I turned around and ran into Haruhi's arms crying. I kept saying lets go , I want to go home. We all rushed to my house.

They kept asking what happened. I shook my head no and hid my face in Haruhi's neck and cried. Soon the whole host club was here. Karou tried asking what happened. I finally was tired of the asking. "I saw him... That man who took me away" I felt Haruhi tense up. Everyone looked shocked at Haruhi's actions. She rocked me around a bit, that's the last thing I remember before falling asleep.

*Haruhi's pov*

"I saw him... The man who took me away"

When I heard that I felt my body go tense. I rocked around a bit, willing her to go to sleep soon Mai had fallen asleep in my arms. I placed Mai into Tamaki's arms, kissed her head and bolted out the door. "Haruhi!" I heard Tamaki-sempai yell then I heard two sets of footsteps following me.

When I got to the park nearby I stopped running. I didn't realize I was running until I collapsed gasping for breath.

The footsteps stopped behind me and out of the corner of my eye I saw the twins kneel down next to me. They rubbed my back until I could breathe again.

"Why did you come after me?" I asked , my voice still hoarse. "Because you're our friend and we wanted to make sure you are alright" Hikaru replied. He looked at Karou and he nodded. Hikaru extended a hand to help me up. I took his arm and got up. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair to calm my nerves.

I paced in a few circles then stopped. "You came after me because someone thought I'd do something stupid, didn't you?" Hikaru looked down Karou answered "Tamaki asked"

I paced some more and then stopped and sighed. Tears were running down my face when I said to head back. I was stopped by two hands, one on my shoulder and waist.

I turned around and I felt two hands wipe away my tears. When I looked up I saw Hikaru looking at me. "What happened?" "We want to know so we can help" Karou finished.

I explained what happened. They were quiet till the end, except Hikaru kept clenching his fists and Karou looked sad. When I finished the story there were more tears running down my face.
