Beware the Physical Exam Part 4

*Mai's pov*

Big sister tells me to go see Honey and Mori, I nod and head over to them not liking the loud noises. Maybe I can play nurse! "hi Mai, what's up?" Honey asks when I get close. "its too loud over there, I don't like it, can I stay with you guys?" I ask with the puppy eyes. Hikaru and Kaoru said that no one can resist the puppy eyes. I don't know why Tamaki keeps calling them shady, they are funny. "sure! want to help us with the plan?" I smile and nod excited for the plan. He bends down and whispers the plan in my ear. This sounds like fun! I wait for the signal and we run over to big sister and push her into the changing room. Now the fun begins I think with a smile.

I don't exactly know what is gonna happen but it should be funny. I go stand by the twins who are already trying to hold back laughs. "what's so funny?" I ask curious they look down at me then to each other and smile deviously. They lean down and Kaoru whispered "we told Tamaki that if he put on a wig everyone would think he was Haruhi" Hikaru starts snickering "and he believed us" I look at them surprised. "that's not very nice" I say with a pout "no but it is going to be funny" they answered, I think about it then smile deviously too "he is gonna freak out all crazy" I say laughing quietly. They look to each other grinning and give me a high five. Oh this is gonna be funny.

The girls stand outside of big sister's dressing area while the twins and I stand back so we can watch everything. "Mr.Fujioka are you ready to be measured?" the nurse asks, then a hand pops out and starts to move the curtain. Its so hard not to laugh. The girls are getting overly excited and it gets even harder not to laugh. Tamaki opens the curtain "yes, I'm Haruhi Fujioka" I try even harder to hold in my laughs. The girls look confused "wait, that's Tamaki" "there's no denying it that's definitely Tamaki" "is he cosplaying as Haruhi?" "what's going on?Is he trying to be funny?".

I see his face start to fall and I can't hold in my laughs anymore. The twins and I burst out laughing "I can't believe he actually did it" Hikaru says through his laughs "they recognize him I told you they would see right through it" Kaoru says laughing, tears streaming down their faces. I can't stop laughing long enough to say anything, tears are coming out of my eyes and my stomach hurts but its so funny I can't stop laughing. Tamaki has a blank look then gets annoyed. The girls are laughing too, this is great. Tamaki grabs them and all I can think is uh oh, now they've done it. "YOU JERKS YOU SAID THERE WAS NO WAY THE GIRLS WOULD BE ABLE TO TELL IT WAS ME" I can't stop laughing, oh my god this is so silly. "That's payback for calling us the homosexual supporting cast" Hikaru says laughing.

Tamaki lets go of them and heads to the curtain looking sad and kind of scared. I kind of feel bad for him. "I'm sorry, they figured it out" Oh no. Big sis does not look happy. She glares at him and he screams, actually scared of her, and runs away. Kyoya walks into the dressing area and I follow him to make sure big sister is okay. I see her sitting on the floor looking down, I am about to go over to her when Kyoya touches her shoulder.

"Haruhi" she looks up "ready? I went ahead and set up a separate room for you a special boys clinic, and I have a doctor standing by sworn to secrecy" I look up surprised. "You can do that! Wow you must be really special to do that" I say amazed. He chuckles "It turns out the doctors here today, are all on staff at one of Kyoya's family hospitals" Hikaru explains "would have been nice if he had said something to us earlier" Karou says, oh well can't do anything about it now. Oh so that's where he went before.

He smirks "I had to get my revenge too, I'm sorry I just don't think I'm supporting cast, homosexual or otherwise" I start laughing then look over to where Tamaki is "why does he look like that? Is he okay?" I ask, oh no did we hurt his feelings? I kind of feel bad now. "check it out Tamaki is eroding away" one of the girls says interested."Haruhi is angry with me" wait, that's it? Big sis will forgive him soon, okay now I don't feel as bad.

Big sister starts walking towards the door. I run to catch up to her, she looks down when I get close. "are you okay?" I ask worried "I'm fine Mai, no need to worry, okay?" she smiles and I give her a big smile back "okay". She knocks on the door and we hear a voice telling us to come in. Haruhi and I walk into the room closing the door behind us. "Mr. Fujioka I've been made aware of your situation, if you wouldn't mind please disrobe for me over there" I'm hiding behind big sister, I don't know this lady. "Oh, and who is this lovely nurse?" she asks trying to help me relax, it works, I walk out from behind big sis "this is Mai, my younger sister". "It's a pleasure to meet you Mai, are you going to be my nurse for the exam?" she asks with a smile. "can I really?!" I ask excitedly she chuckles and nods.

I head to the dressing area with big sis and stand in the back corner. Big sister was taking off the dress shirt and tie when a strange man walked in. I hide in the corner scared. Last time there was a strange man I got taken away from my family. "Excuse me" big sister starts but he rushes forward and grabs her shoulder and puts a hand over her mouth. I start to cry scared for my sister and me. "Its not what you think, please just keep quiet" I cry more hugging my panda close when I hear a yell. "HARUHI, MAI" that's Tamaki! He came to our rescue, just like a prince!

He runs in an kicks the man and... flips in the air? The guy hits the wall and I run over to big sister crying. She picks me up and holds me close, quietly shushing me and trying to help me calm down. I still hide my face in her neck, I don't wanna see this guy. I want my sister. Then I start hearing the rest of the club talk and I start to calm down more, feeling safe around my friends and big sister.

I listen to what the rest of the club is saying and wow. "One" I look over to the twins "good looks that attract the public eye"I hear Kyoya start to talk "two, more wealth than you can imagine". I look over to Mori surprised when he starts to speak "three, chivalry that will never be able to overlook..." I look over to Honey surprised at how serious he looks "the hideous wickedness of this world". Tamaki walks over and puts his dress shirt on big sister's head, which kind of covers me too. "That's what makes up the Ouran Host club..." I was wondering when he was gonna start talking. "we're here watch out" they all say together... did they plan this?

The creepy man looks scared in the new hole in the wall. "Please, please don't hurt me, spare me my life" I look at him confused, did he think he was gonna die? He doesn't look so scary now, he looks sad, I still cuddle up to my sister feeling safe in her arms. I can tell she's worried by how her arms tighten around me. I lean my head on her shoulder and watch, when suddenly......he starts telling his... life story? Wait did he just say his name is Yabu (sorry I can't spell)? The twins say what I'm thinking out loud.... wait can they read my mind? "That's crazy, a weird name for a doctor" Kaoru starts "unless you're a quack" they finish together, I still don't get how they do that.

Everyone looks unimpressed, even the doctor, except for Tamaki he looks sad for the guy. Yea its a sad story but he did it to himself. Usually I would try to comfort the guy, but he scared me and I don't wanna leave my sister. I am only half listening to them at this point, comforted by the warm hug of my big sister. And then, Kyoya and the twins figured it out! This guy is at the wrong school, that's sad. Tamaki asked Kyoya to give the man a map of all of the public schools in the area, and he left to try to find his daughter.

We stand at the window watching him leave. That's when big sis says "I'm sorry about this you guys butcould you please leave?" They all look to her surprised "Haruhi? Are you still angry with me? You're not thinking about quitting the Host Club are you?" Tamaki asks freaking out. Big sister laughs "don't be silly, I've just got to finish my physical exam. As a male student of course. Uh but let me explain I'm not doing this because you're bribing me with food. I'm doing it to pay back my debt" The hosts are all looking at her smiling, happy that she isn't leaving the club. I have to say I'm happy too, these guys are fun. She, Tamaki and the twins start talking about something when she yells "who cares, can you guys just get out of here?!"I start laughing, maybe today wasn't all bad.

*Haruhi's pov*

Well that was a crazy day, my instincts were right. I knew something was going to happen today, but I ignored it. At least it worked out okay. Next time I won't brush off this feeling tho. Today really freaked Mai out. Well at least no one found out that I'm a girl so I can repay my debt.

Hey guys sorry for the slow updates. College classes have been keeping me pretty busy lately. Being an Art and Design major takes up a lot of time. A bit more than I expected.
