Haruhi's little sister

That Night

*Haruhi's pov*

This day was not so bad at the end. The rest of the club left and Tamaki and I went back to Mai's room after we walked the others out. We opened the door and she was sitting on her bed looking down. She looked up when we walked in. "Where is papa? Is he gonna stay hewe too? "

She looked so sad. I started to walk over to her but Tamaki walked ahead of me. He sat next to her and picked her up and put her on his lap. I walked in and sat down next to them. "What's wrong princess?" Tamaki asked. He genuinely looked concerned and knowing him he was. 

She looked up at him "I miss papa, and what if that scawy man comes back?" He hugged her and told her not to worry and that he was sending a cool car to get him, and that he had his own room. "And if that scary man tries to come back you have a prince to keep you safe"

"Weally?" Her eyes got so happy and relieved. He smiled and nodded. Suddenly his face lit up. uh oh. He looked to Mai and asked "Hey Mai? Would you like to have a princess movie marathon? You can pick the movies!" She looked at him and almost screamed yes. I giggled and watched her pull him by the hand running out of the room.

*time skip to the marathon*

We got settled on the couch popcorn, candy, hot coco, and all. Tamaki and I on the sides and Mai in the middle. Her eyes were glued to the screen. The first movie she wanted to watch was Cinderella, because she said she was like Cinderella and her room was too.

After about halfway through the third movie she fell asleep on Tamaki he was smiling and insisted on finishing the movie. Once it was over he carried her to bed and we left her room. He insisted on walking me to my room when we got there I hugged him. He hugged me back (little did I know his face was redder than a tomato) when we pulled away from each other he asked "not that I don't like your hugs. But what was that for?" I smiled and answered "For being so nice to me and my family especially my sister, she really does like you. And you've done so much to help us, more than necessary, but... thank you" I gave him a small hug and went into my room saying a good night. Yea this day wasn't so bad.

*Tamaki's pov*

I suggested a princess movie marathon, Mai got so excited that she pulled me out of the room. I laughed and once we got a bit down the hallway I picked her up and put her on my shoulders racing down the hall. She was giggling like a madwoman. I had her pick out her favorite snacks and hot coco. I also let her choose the movie she chose Cinderella and a few others. She asked me if I knew why she chose Cinderella. I told her that I did not and she replied "I feel like Cinderella and I now have a Cinderella room!" I smiled glad that she was happy. 

We sat and watched movies about half way into the third movie Mai fell asleep on me. I noticed Haruhi smile and I smiled too. I insisted watching the whole movie and once it was done we could put her to bed. The movie finished not long after, and we took Mai to her room. We went inside and I laid her in her bed and she cuddled the new panda stuffed animal I got her.

(Its small for a child to carry but this is what it looks like) 

I smiled as she hugged it close, We tucked her in and quietly left the room. I insisted on walking Haruhi to her room and once we got there she hugged me. I felt my face get redder than a tomato. When we pulled away from each other I asked "not that I don't like your hugs. But what was that for?" she smiled and answered "For being so nice to me and my family especially my sister, she really does like you. And you've done so much to help us, more than necessary, but... thank you" she gave me a small hug and went into her room saying a good night.

I hardly heard her say good night because I was blushing so much. I couldn't believe she hugged me. TWICE!! I finally went to my room and changed for bed. I went to sleep smiling. Today wasn't such a bad day.
