I don't know what to write for in intro sorry

I was jolted from cleaning dishes by a knock on the door.
"What the hell" I asked myself, due to the fact that nobody ever knocked on our door except the UPS delivery worker, and that wasn't until much later in the day.
I put the dish I was washing in the sink and walked to the front door.
"Hello" I said, opening the door to reveal a boy about Rose's age.
"Hello Mrs. Dost! I'm Eli, Is Rose here? I have to ask her a question regarding a physics exam" He asked, pushing some of his brown unruly hair out of his blue eyes.
"Yes, she is! Let me go get her"
For Rose's age, she was not as social as Andrew and I had expected her to be. During her first few years with us she had lots of friends, but as she grew older she seemed to be more interested in spending her days at home with a book or one close friend rather than out with a group. She showed little to no interest in going out and looking for a boyfriend either. This being said, it was slightly shocking to see not only somebody not in Rose's realm of close friends at the door, but a boy.
"Rose!" I called, knocking on her bedroom door.
"What?!"
"There's a boy at the door for you!"
"A real one?!"
"Just come!"
Rose opened her bedroom door and bounded down the hallway, around a corner and finally to the door. I decided to give her some space and went back to washing dishes, but only a few moments after that decision, Rose entered the room followed by Eli. I left that room, grabbing my phone from the counter and went into the living room. Just then, I got a text from Andrew.
Andrew: Tell Rose we got the Imagine Dragons tickets she wanted. If you're ok with it, maybe we can have a quiet night in while she goes with a friend? After all, her grades have been through the roof, I trust her
I quickly replied saying it was fine with me and I would tell Rose while making my way back into the kitchen.
"Hey Rose, we got those Imagine Dragons tickets" I said, sending the text.
"Really?!"
"Yeah, we did! And you know what, your grades have been awesome lately, so you can go by yourself. You just have to find someone to drive you and go with you. What about Natalie?"
"Natalie only knows one song by them" Rose said as she rolled her eyes dramatically. "I'll ask around though"
"How much were tickets?" Eli asked
"$80"
"I have that money on me. I happen to be a long term fan of Imagine Dragons. And it would be an honor to not only escort Rose, but attend with her" He said as Rose blushed.
"That would be awesome. You can drive, right?"
"Yes. Oh, and no tattoos. Never kissed a girl. Don't drink. Don't smoke." He laughed.
I laughed as I thought of my own parents asking Andrew those same questions the first time they met him years before.
"Just marry him"
"Mom!" Rose hissed.
I laughed, leaving the room to catch up on the episodes of How I Met Your Mother I had recorded.
--------------------------------------------------
It was 8PM when another somebody knocked on the door.
"I'll get it" I said sarcastically to Rose who was entranced with the current episode of Freaks and Geeks she was watching on her laptop.
I opened the door to reveal Andrew.
"Hello!"
"What the-" I started, catching myself. "You're not supposed to be home until next week!"
"Nate and Jack wanted to stay in Europe for an extra week to poke around, I decided i'd rather be home with my beautiful wife and daughter"
"What a gentleman"
"Speaking of which, what is this about a boy?" Andrew asked, walking into the living room.
"Dad?" Rose asked.
"Yes. Hello. It is me, dad"
Rose rolled her eyes yet again and laughed.
"Anyways, I want to hear about this.... friend of yours"
Rose groaned.
"I'm kidding, I trust you Rose. More importantly, anybody up for Chinese?"
