Chapter 8

HAYLEY

I don't  even remember  changing until my jaw was around the rogues neck and snapping it like a stick. I let go of the rogue and just took off. I have never killed anyone in my life. shit shit shit what have I done, and how did I get in front of Lyndon so quickly, I'm going to have to ask him what happened.

 I run for what felt like hours but was really only a hour. I come back to the house and scrape my paw along the door. Mum opens the door and passes me a dress, I go behind a tree and change. When I walk back to the house Lyndon and my brothers are in the kitchen waiting for me. I try and walk straight pass them, but Lyndon grabs me and hugs me.

I start crying, Lyndon just holds me tighter and says "  Thank you for saving me, I didn't know you could move that fast. You were awesome. "

I wipe my eyes and move my head so I am looking at him " It was a shock for me I didn't know either. I didn't think about what I was doing it just happened" I tell him.

" It's a mate instinct " My dad says and then continues when we all look at him strangely. " When you have a strong connection to your mate sometimes your instinct takes over and just goes into fighting mode without realising it, but usually its the male. I must say I have heard of your Nana doing that once, so you must take after her."

 " Yeah I must " I cant believe I did that I killed a rogue, me of all the people the runt of the family and I.m pretty sure the whole pack. Lyndon takes my hand and starts walking towards my bedroom, I lay down on my bed and Lyndon lays down next to me pulling me close.

We stay like this for a while. Lyndon hops up and starts pacing the room " I changed into my wolf to protect you but you were just to quick i couldn't protect you i don't feel like I'm worthy of you. You don.t need me you can look after yourself" Lyndon practically yells at me.

I jump of the bed and start yelling at him " What the fuck are you for real earlier you thank me for saving you and now your telling me i hurt your male ego. well sorry like I said I didn't even realise I was doing it. You might think I don't need you but I do I love you sorry if you can't handle me protecting you. So you can either stay and get over it or leave and never see me again your choice."

Lyndon just stares and me and then he storms out of the room. I stare after him, I can't believe he left. Well stuff him I don't really need him ahhhhhh he makes me so mad well that's it we are through I'm done with Lyndon. I will find someone else that guy won't be my mate but I will be happy.

I just sit on my bed staring into space when the tears start rolling down my face.Who am I kidding I can't be happy without Lyndon I shouldn't of given him the ultimatum I'm so stupid, but he can't talk to me like that.

I head downstairs to the lounge room. I make my way to the couch and turn on the tv. I feel the couch dip next to me I look to see Kaleb next to me he puts his arm around me and lets me cry until I can't cry no more.

I start to wake up feeling really groggy. What happened, the last thing I remember is walking back home to check on Sabrina, and the next the thing I'm falling a sleep. I sit up and have a very strange feeling something is wrong. I jump up and bolt towards my house. I slam the door open and start yelling" SABRINA WERE ARE YOU"  " SABRINA "

I can't hear her or now that I think about it I can't smell her either I roar with anger and shift into my wolf ans start mind linking with my beta and start running towards the border I will get Sabrina back no matter what, she is mine all mine, and I want her back.

I arrive at the border and start pacing waiting for  my beta tom to arrive with the enforcers. I know I can't just run in there and start tearing the place apart I have to be smart about it or Sabrina will never come back or forgive me. Maybe I should let them have her for a couple of days let them think they have won and that I don't want her.

I can't believe I have found the most beautiful mate and she doesn't want me well I will make it up to her. I have been a fool, but no more, I will win her over I don't know how but I will think of something.

I start heading back home. I mind link Tom to tell him not to worry false alarm.  I enter my house and head to my bedroom. I lay down and can't stop thinking about Sabrina.

I must of dozed of for a few hours I only woke up cause someone was knocking on my front door. I head downstairs and open the door. My jaw drops open I can't believe who is at the door.
