HAYLEY



I knew Lyndon would follow me, I wanted to make him jealous. Well I think it worked ,since he threw and punched poor Tim. I feel sorry for Tim caught in the middle. I shouldn't of done that, I will have to apologies to him later.

As soon as I saw Lyndon run out the front doors, I ran the other way to the backdoors, when I make it through the doors I change into my wolf and just run not caring were I end up. I make sure not to cross the border,so maybe I do care were I end up. I don't have a death wish.

Ok I was sitting at the border of the Jackal packs land. Not knowing what do next. I'm having a awesome birthday not, I'm stupid sometimes, why did I do that, so dumb. I don't think things through. I hop up, I going to look for Lyndon and explain what happened. I don't want him to piss off, I want to have him want me and love me. FUCK I'm dumb, ok that's enough self loathing , go do something to fix it.

I jump up and race back to school. I head to the front door in human form and try and get his scent . There's to many people around, so I head to the woods and find his scent easy . I make sure no one is looking and change into my wolf. I follow his scent and run for what feels like hours. Where is he going? I stop I can't run anymore I'm buggered. I can hear a stream so I make my way to the stream.

I walk up to the stream and have a long drink, mmm that is refreshing. I lay down and close my eyes, and soon fall asleep. I dream about Lyndon, about he's lovely lips on mine. I am so dumb.

I woke up to find I am in a bedroom, not mine, looks like a boys bedroom. There is motorbike pictures and Pearl Jam, Korn, system of down posters on the wall. I don't mind that kind of music. I sit up, and am about to get out of the bed when the door opens and in walks Lyndon. Oh my gosh, am I still dreaming. I rub my eyes, not believing what I'm seeing.

" Hi beautiful, how are you?. Lyndon asks me. Why is he being nice I was a bitch to him.

" Hi. I'm confused. I thought you would be pissed at me. I'm so sorry I didn't, mean to kiss Tim , we'll I did to make you jealo....." Lyndon cut me off by placing his awesome lips on mine and kissing me passionately. Now I am really confused, but not complaining, in fact loving it. Lyndon pushes away, and looks at me. I then realise that he is crying.

" I'm so sorry Hayley. I shouldn't have walked away from you, you can protect me anytime. We were lucky you were there and you were so quick. I won't lie, it hurt me so much when I saw you kissing Tim, but I understand why you did it. I promise you I wont act like a dick anymore ok. " Lyndon puts our foreheads together waiting for my response.

I look at him and can't help the tears , " I'm the one who is sorry. Let's just forget about it and start from the beginning"

I move back and put my hand out to him. " Hi my name is Hayley. What is your name"

Lyndon starts to laugh " Come here beautiful . Oh and Happy Birthday, I will make it up to you. I know you haven't had the best day."

Lyndon hugs me and then says " Your family are waiting for you to have dinner I will take you. I'm invited too. I explained everything to your mum and she understands. She told me I had to grow up and show you what a real man is . I told her I would try a lot"

I smile at him grab his hand and start walking out. I then realise that I have no idea how to get out of his house. " Ummm you better Lead the way, cause I don't have a clue " I say to Lyndon while giggling.

He leads me to the garage and we get into his pick up. I can't stop smiling
" Hey Lyndon how did you find me, you were so far away. I tried to follow your scent, but got tired ."

"I was about to cross the border, that's how upset I was I was willing to die cause my heart hurt so much . Anyway, I smelled you and came running. I found you in human form curled up in a ball sleeping. So I picked you up and bought you to my house. "

" Oh I must of been tired, I don't remember sleeping in human form, I fell asleep in wolf form. I don't remember you picking me up. The only thing I remember is a funny smell, but I was to exhausted to go check it out."

" Funny you say that about a funny smell, I smelt it to, and thought it was weird. We will have to tell your dad about it"

We drive in silence just holding hands and loving it. We pull up to my place. Lyndon jumps out quickly comes around to my door and opens it for me. Such a lovely boy. We enter the house with our arms around each other. I turn on the lounge room light only for people to jump out of everywhere and yell " SURPRiSE" oh my gosh .

My two brothers come running up to me, and tell me it was a surprise party for us three but I was late so they did the surprise again for me. Oh that was nice I love my family. I give my brothers a big bear hug. I couldn't live with out them in my life.

I turn to Lyndon and ask him "Did you know about this"

" I knew about the first one that your brothers got surprised on, but not about your last minute one. Maybe thats why I got invited to dinner."

" I think you right." I tell him. We head further into the lounge room, and people from my pack and my crazy friends all wish me a happy birthday. My mum grabs me and says " Did we surprise you honey" I nod my head and give her and dad a hug. I think my birthday just got a hell of a lot better.
