Chapter 10

HAYLEY

I don't remember going to bed last night. I think Kaleb put me here. I'm lying in bed thinking about Lyndon and how he chose his pride over me, stupid prick. While I'm feeling hate towards Lyndon, Kaleb and Ronald come barging into my room yelling.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYLEY" I laugh and tell them happy birthday too. I forgot it was our 18th birthday. I jump out of bed and race downstairs with the boys. I hope dad got my purple GMC 3500hd sierra.

We into the kitchen to find mum and dad kissing, gross lucky I haven't had breakfast yet. Mum and dad hug us each and then tell us to hurry up and get ready for school or we will miss the bus. Our faces drop into sad faces and we walk back upstairs to get ready. I take a shower dry myself then get dressed. I put on skinny black jeans and a off the shoulder black top, and finish it off with my purple converse. I just finish tying my shoes up when I hear car horns. The noise is coming from our driveway. I look out the window and start screaming my head off.

While rushing out of the my room, I collide into Ronald, he says a quick sorry and helps up off the ground. We race each other outside but Kaleb beat us. In the driveway were our awesome cars, well mine is the best just ask me I will tell you. I got my purple Gmc sierra. Kaleb got his black convertible 2012 camaro, and Ronald got his red Hummer.

We can't wipe the smiles off of our faces. I run inside grab my bag, then run to mum and dad give them big hugs and kisses, and scream thank you over and over again. Well we all do. We hop into our cars and drive to school. I can't wait to show this baby off.

I picked Karla up on the way to school. As soon as she hopped into the car she started screaming.

" Oh my gosh I love it yay. Can I have a drive" She asks

" No way, as long as I.m alive are you driving my sweet ride" I tell her, while poking my tongue out at her.

We arrive at school and there is a huge crowd in the car park, checking out my brothers cars. I pull into a car park. I can't open my door, because now all the kids have crowded around my car. Yeah I know it's a sweet ride, hmm I think I have said that already.

I get out of my monster, feeling really happy. Everyone is wishing me a happy birthday, I think today is going to be a great day. Until I turn around and see Lyndon, staring at me from the stairs of the main building. I flip him off and start walking with my friends, the only people I care about besides family, to class.

I walk straight pass Lyndon, not even glancing his way. I hear him say Happy Birthday , but I don;t acknowledge that I heard him. I walk into maths and sit down with a sigh.

" What's wrong Hayley? You should be happy it's your birthday " Karls says while sitting down next to me

" I am happy." Trying to put a smile on my face. I will not think of Lyndon only happy thoughts for me from now on.

LYNDON

Hayley just bloody flipped me off. What did I expect really, With the way I behaved. So what she saved your life be grateful, you might not be here or worse off Hayley could of died. I didn't even get a chance to attack, Hayley was so fast I didn't even see her move. She was ripping that wolfs throat out before I knew what was happening.

I am a dam fool. But it's to late now I have ruined everything, like I always do. Hayley will never forgive me for walking away. I really just needed air I was so angry . I should of stayed, then I could be celebrating her birthday with her, I got Hayley a amethyst ring. a promise ring. Maybe one day I can give it to her. But for now I will let her cool down and when I'm not being so stupid I will apologise to her. I love her.

Hayley and her brothers are having a 18th birthday party tomorrow night I will go and apologise to her and hopefully she will forgive me

I walk into maths class, and take a seat away from Hayley. I look at her and she stares back. Then all of a sudden she is running from the room in tears. Shit .

" Just don't sit there Lyndon go after her " Yells Karla

I rush out the door only to stop dead in my tracks. Hayley is up against the lockers full on kissing one of the jocks Tim Henderson . I can't stop staring. I come to my senses and walk over to them. I throw Tim off of Hayley, he bangs into the lockers. I walk over to Tim and punch him in the nose.

" Stop it Lyndon. Piss off and leave me alone. You made it clear you didn't want me. Now piss off, so I can be happy again ." Hayley yells at me.

I stare at her, my wolf is fighting to come out. So I bolt down the hall and go outside. I run straight for the forest, and shift as soon as my feet hit grass. I run to the border and cross the line I don't care anymore let Eli kill me. Hayley wouldn't care no one would.
