Austin's p.o.v
I ignored her question and rolled towards her. "He's just going to hurt you! Why didn't you tell me you talked to him this morning too?" I wanted to know. I had to know...
Ally's p.o.v
Why does Austin not get why I have to meet James? I have to talk to him about Austin.
"He's not going to hurt me, I'll make sure of it. And I didn't tell you because I knew you'd react like this!" I replied. I don't know how I got into this mess.
"He will hurt you. I can see it coming. There's no way on Earth you are meeting him tomorrow." Austin warned. Why does he think I'm 5?
"I'm a big girl, Austin. I can fend for myself." I said as I threw my phone on the pile of my clothes in my duffel bag.
"I'm not letting you." He raised his voice.
"How can you not understand? He's going to hurt my family if I don't meet with him. I'd rather get hurt then my family. I feel guilty enough that I landed you in hospital." I exclaimed, tears pricking my eyes.
"That was not your fault! And I'm not going to let you get hurt, I'll go with you." His eyes scored into mine.
"And how are you going to get out of here? You're not let out until another week or something." I said, proving my point.
"I'll sneak out. I'll follow you and wait for you in the bushes and if he lays one finger on you then I'll surprise attack him!" Austin beamed, looking excited.
"Austin, you can hardly make a fist let alone punch someone. I'm not letting you sneak out either. You have the police coming tomorrow and you have a bunch of tests to go through. I can't risk you getting hurt even more." I shook my head. The hospital won't let him out anyway.
For a moment Austin hesitated, then he opened his mouth, like he was about to argue, but he closed it again. Then he sighed. "So you're really going to meet him?" He asked, unsure.
I nodded. "Yeah, it's the only thing I can do." I said softly, looking down.
Austin rolled a little more towards me and put his hand on my leg. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. I know you can defend yourself. I just got overprotective again. I just don't want you hurt." He spoke so easily. It's calming.
"I'm sorry too. I should be glad that you care this much. And I'm sorry I didn't tell you about talking to James and that I'm leaving tomorrow." I put my hand on top of his.
He smiled. Even his smiles seem weak. I guess he's really hurt. "It's alright. What time are you leaving?" He asked, sadly.
"I have to be out of here by 9am, you might not be up, but I'll visit you after I meet up with James and I'll tell you all about it." I smiled. I can't wait to see Trish and Dez again. I've asked them to look after the store while I'm not there and that's why they haven't visited me as much.
"You're still going to school Monday?" Austin asked with a laugh. If it was him, he'll not go to school for the rest of next week. It's Friday evening now so I have the weekend to spend with Austin.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I? I've already damaged my perfect attendance already." I said, smiling. We both laughed for a few moments.
"Alright, well you have a big day ahead, you should get some rest." I said, realising the time.
"Okay, I'll try to be up early tomorrow to say goodbye." He smiled.
"It's not goodbye, and thank you." I smiled back. I bent down to hug him in his wheelchair and then he rolled out.
