I got to the beach and saw James standing by the sea. It's now or never Ally.

I walked up to him and smiled. "Hi." I said nervously. There are 2 very different ways this could play out to be...

"I didn't think you would actually show up." He smiled evilly.

I rolled my eyes. "And risk you hurting my family? What do you want to talk about?" I asked, impatiently. Trish said earlier that Dad was having a hard time with the store so I have to help him. And to do that, I have to get back asap.

"We all know well enough now that I don't like Austin. But now I hear that you've chosen him. I have no choice, Ally. I miss you, but now that you're with him, I don't like you either. It;s confusing but you know what I'm saying, don't you?" He asked. He started to walk away so I followed him.

"Not quite.." My voice trailed off at the end.

"I'm going to have to take you with me." He smiled evilly again. Wait, what? Then he whistled and two guys came up behind me. He's going to kidnap me?

I tried to run but the guys stopped me and pulled me back. Damn, my hairband fell off, I might need that...Wait, not my biggest problem.

Then they took me arms and dragged me to a van and chucked me in the back. I struggled all I could but it was no good. They tied a rope around my arms and put some tape over my mouth.

Great. Now what? I thought long and hard during the ride to where ever we were going to but nothing came to my head. Then the van stopped and I heard James get out.

Austin's p.o.v 

I can't believe Ally's gone to meet James, by herself. I have to get out of here. The doctor came back to do some tests on me. Then the police came to interview me.

"So Austin, tell us exactly what happened that night." The male police officer said as he took out a notepad.

I sat up in my hospital bed and thought. "Well, I walked from school to visit my friend Ally Dawson who was in hospital at the time, since she fainted because of me, then I was walking back from here and I was jumped, but after that I blacked out. I don't know who found me and brought me here and I didn't know who attacked me until Ally told me-" I began but the female policewoman stopped me.

"How did Ally faint because of you?" She asked.

"Well I got in a fight with this guy at my school James Marcus. He was the one who attacked me, but it was too overwhelming for her and she fainted." I explained.

The male police officer noted all of this down. "And this James, what happened to start the fight?" He asked.

"He was mean to Ally and I because he used to go out with Ally but- wait, how does all this have to do with my injuries?" I asked, confused.

"Because this James seems to be a vital part in all of this, what did you say his last name was?" The male policeman asked, noting some more things down.

"Marcus. He sent me this text. Ally spoke to him on the phone but I was still unaware that it was him." I said, showing them my phone.

"Alright, we're going to have to find this James on our database. We'll be back in a few minutes." The woman police officer said and they left.

Okay, a few minutes to myself. OOOHHH NOOOO, the second they leave, the doctor comes back in.

"Austin, we have your test results. You are free to go, but you HAVE to get a lot of rest and take one of each of these tablets a day. We'll provide crutches for you to help you walk and you have to come back for another check-up every week until you are better. This is crucial since we are letting you go early. You can go once the police are finished." He said, handing me 3 packets of different types of medicine and placing crutches next to the wall.

"Thank you so much doc." I smiled and then he left. Woo, I finally have a few moments to myself...

No I don't. The police came back in 2 seconds after the doctor went.

"Austin, we've tried contacting your friend Ally, but we can't get a hold of her. Do you know where she might be?" The male policeman asked.

Oh no, James.

"She was going to talk to James Marcus. At the beach." I said, nervously.

They looked at each other, and then back at me. "James Marcus has a history of violence, Austin, you must try to get hold of her. We'll go looking for Ally." They said before rushing out of the room.

Has James done something to Ally? I have to find her! Trish! She'll know!

I picked up my phone and dialled Trish...
