Pete wasn't sure what to think. The beautiful girl hadn't messaged him back. Was maybe she just didn't look at her Instagram that often? Oh well. Whatever the reason Pete was starting to get nervous. What was he supposed to so? Send another message? That might work. But he didn't want to seem too clingy or desperate.
But then again she had followed him. Shouldn't that mean she wanted to talk to him? Maybe it was just one of those follow for follows things.

Ugh. Why was talking to girls so hard?

After a while of internal conflict, Pete decided to just give it some time and wait for the beautiful girl. If she didn't respond soon he'd have to try again?

But in reality, Mikey was just too lazy to check and she had kind of forgotten about it.

Thankfully she was bored as fuck so she went through and checked everything she possibly could to hopefully find some form of entertainment.

She almost dropped her phone when she saw that someone had messaged her and that someone was the hot guy who had commented on her picture.

She couldn't believe this was real. Someone thinking she actually looked attractive and then wanting to talk her? That seemed too good to be true.

She clicked on the message and held her breath as she read it.

Hey! So this might be a little bit creepy but I saw you're picture on the CS thing and I love your account so would it be cool if we talked or something?

Mikey wasn't sure if she wanted to scream or cry. She still couldn't get over the fact that this guy actually liked her. No one liked her. She had accepted the fact that she would die alone except for maybe Gerard and his thousands of cats but she never thought she'd ever have a chance.
She had to stop herself. There was no sign that this guy even wanted a romantic relationship with her. She was just jumping to conclusions. He probably just wanted a friend or maybe he was a serial killer who had a thing for nerdy trans girls. Either way Mikey had to message him back.

But what to say? Mikey brought a whole new meaning to the term awkward. She never had any idea what to say or how to say it. Especially when talking to cute guys. Not that she's had much (or any) experience with cute guys.

Talking would be nice. But I'm awkward af so...
