A/n. I am going to refer to your identical twin as a she and the main character, (Y/N) I am also referring to a girl. And your twins name is Kara. (35 words)
~~~Authors POV~~~
Both (Y/N) and Kara stood facing the doorway leading to the rest of the underground. Both of them let out a sigh as they pushed open the door, revealing a long hallway, the twins then began to walk down and then noticed that the further they got, the purple hue of the corridor, grew lighter and lighter. Soon, both of them reached the end, and when they passed through the exit, they came across a dark room, and in that room was a single spot of light shining down on a patch of grass. In the grass, there was a yellow flower with a face chuckling to itself.
"Well, well, well, now you are both awake." It said looking at the twins. "Golly! I can't wait for the fun to begin." It said, it's face contorting to something more menacing, and then the letting out a spine chilling cackle.
With that, disappeared into the ground, leaving (Y/N) completely confused. After a few seconds she brushed it off and then looked to her twin you seem un-phased. The two sisters Delmont forward to another door and then pushed that open. When it opened, they saw that lead to a snowy environment. A cold breeze brushed against the two and a shiver went down both of their backs.
"Well, it's a good thing we wore sweaters." (Y/N) smiled as she walked forward, making the snow crunched under her foot.
"You can say that again." Kara said, looking around.
(Y/N) looked over to a sister, who was still in the doorway. "Come on." She said.
"Huh? Oh... I was thinking you should go ahead I wanted to go back to see if I can find Toriel and give her a proper goodbye. I was awake much longer than you, so I feel a little bit attached to her. That, and I wanted to see if I could snatch the rest of that pie. Down here food is used to heal, and judging from how tough man was going to need all the food we can get." She nervously smiled.
"I see... Why can't i go with you?" (Y/N) asked.
"I know you want to get out of here as soon as we can, so if you go on head we can make progress. Besides it won't take too long. I can catch up using your footprints" She smiled looking down at the snow.
(Y/N) looked reluctant at first, probably considering that Toriel told them not to go back... But after considering it a lot, she let out a sigh and flashed her twin a warm smile. Kara wouldn't get hurt in the ruins, and if anything, Toriel was there just in case she needed help.
"... You won't take to long?"
"Twenty minutes, tops." Kara smiled.
"Alright... Be careful... Okay?"
"Okay... Oh! I almost forgot!" She said, reaching into her pocket. "Mom wanted me to give you this phone. I have one too. It has her number and mine too! So if anything, you can call. Oh, and here." She said handing over both the phone and a donut. "Food is important. I bought this in the ruins from the spider bake sale. If you're injured, just eat it and it will heal you up!" She said with confidence.
Her twin took both and looked them over. "Thanks. This helps put my mind at ease!" She smiled.
Kara flashed a toothy smile and the halfway turned her body. "Alright. I'm gonna get going. I won't be long... And be careful. Okay." She said, pulling her sister into a hug.
The hug lasted a few seconds, and soon after, Kara turned around and went back into the he ruins murmuring something like it won't be long~
I D I O T.
Then the door closed behind her, leaving (Y/N) alone in the new land.
"Alright... Well, I guess I better get going too." She said.
She walked down what looked like to be the only path through the the thick forest, and almost instantly tripped over a large broken branch... Yeah, (Y/N) may be more mature twin, but still is somewhat clumsy. She looked back over to it, and then look forward to proceed forward. After a few steps, she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. She snapped at her head behind her, only to see nothing. Adrenaline start to come through her veins as she turned back around and started walking faster. The footsteps grew louder... And closer.
(Y/N) then came across a bridge with large pillar like bars to the side of it. When she reached the edge of the bridge, she heard footsteps directly behind. She found herself paralysed from fear. The footsteps stopped right behind her. As soon as the sound finished echoing, I deep voice filled the air.
"H u m a n . . . D o n ' t Y o u K n o w H o w T o G r e e t A P a l ? T u r n A r o u n d A n d S h a k e My H a n d . "
(Damn that was a lot harder writing than I thought.)
The (H/C) girl then turned around to face the one who spoke. The figure was as tall as her and appeared to be a bit on the chubby side. He was cloaked in darkness, so no other traits could be seen. As soon as she was fully turned around, he stuck out his hand. She looked down at his hand and carefully took it. As soon as her skin met his hand, a very... unexpected sound filled the air... (Y/N) looked down at their hands and couldn't help but to let out a small giggle at the sound.
"Heh, the old whopper cushion in the hand trick. It's ALWAYS funny." The figure smirked proudly.
After their hands met,The darkness faded away, to reveal a skeleton. Do you want blue hoodie with a simple white shirt underneath, what looks like to be a pair of basketball sweats, and a pair of slippers on his feet. His face held a never fading grin and white and pinpricks could be seen in the back of his eye sockets.
"Anyways, you're a human, Right? ...wait, didn't I see two of you a minute ago?" He asked. Letting go of her hand and sticking it into his jacket pocket.
"That was my sister you saw. We're twins."
"That's hilarious. You two must have a lot of fun pulling jokes. Anyway, the name Sans. Sans the skeleton." He said with a wink. Which you didn't bother questioning...
"Yeah, we joke around here and there once in a while... And my name's. (Y/N)."
"Nice to meet ya, (Y/N). I'm actually supposed to be watching humans right now... But you know, I don't really care about capturing anybody. No my brother, Papyrus, he is a human hunting FANATIC." Sans said, looking behind her. "Actually, I think I see him over there... I have an idea. Follow me."
He said, walking past the girl and through the bars. She followed him until they came to a large open area. "Quick, get behind that conveniently placed shaped lamp over there."
She quickly obeyed the skeleton, and as soon she was hidden, the sound of another skeleton could be heard.
"Sup bro?" Sans asked.
"You know what's "up ", brother! It's been days since you've gotten any work done! You just hang around here all day! What if a human passes through here??? "His brother, Papyrus said.
"hey, don't worry about it, bro... Maybe that lump of it I can help you out. "He said with a large grin.
"Sans!!! You want to helping! I have to catch a human! If I do, then Undyne will let me into the Royal guard!" Papyrus yelled.
"Hey, take it easy Pap, you'll get in. There's no need to work yourself to the bone." Sans slyly said.
"Ugh! Sans, please now isn't the time! *sigh* I'm going to go back to check on my puzzles. Try to put more backbone into your work while I'm gone. Nyeh heh heh!" Papyrus said, and soon walked away.
"Alright, the coast is clear." Sans said towards (Y/N)
"That was a fast conversation." She said, walking out from behind the lamp.
"Yeah. He's been stressed out a lot lately... Undyne became our ruler recently, and she's been enforcing human hunting to another level." He sighed. "But don't worry too much about it, you can continue down this path. I'll keep an eye socket out for ya, and your sister." He smiled
A smile crossed (Y/N)'s face as she gave a single nod. "Thanks, Sans." She said as she turned away from him and continued down the path.
"Actually... I was wondering if you could do me a small favour." Sans said, catching (Y/N)'s attention. "Since he's been so stressed and down lately, it would mean a lot if you would let him see you." (Y/N) though for a second before nodding her head, accepting the request. "Thanks a million. And don't worry, he isn't dangerous even if he tries to be. I'll meet you up ahead." He said, flashing her a wink.
A faint powdering of pink formed on her cheeks at his action. She then turned around to continue on the path, and after a minute, (Y/N) look to be kinder, and to her surprise, so no one. She blinked and confusing, Sans was just right that a second ago... She then turned her head forward and shrugged her shoulders. Maybe that was a monster thing...
A/n: Just a quick question... Are these chapters too long? If they are I will cut them into two of you please!
