"Come on in." Sans said, opening the door to the house where he and his brother lives. (Well they ain't homeless you know...)
He walked through the doorway, soon followed by (Y/N). When she walked in, Sans close the door behind it and then watched as she is set down her sleep insist on the couch in the living room. She then sat down next to her twin and let out a yawn. Sans saw her do so, so he walked up to her, which made her look up at him.
"Hey, kid, if you once, you can sleep in my room tonight. I can watch over your sis. " He said.
She looked down at Kara and then let out another yawn. "Thanks for the offer, but I'll think I'll pass. I'll just crash here with Kara. " She said, getting more comfortable.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah... Besides, it would feel weird for me to sleep alone. " She said, closing her eyes.
Sans look to her computer for a second, but Emily mark that both of them are twins, meaning that they probably spent the majority of that time together.
"Alright... Night, you too. " He said, walking upstairs.
"Night..." (Y/N) trailed before falling completely asleep.
Sense walk down the hallway for a few steps and then sat down. From here, he could see both of the sisters from the balcony, and more importantly, he could keep an eye on Kara.
"Geez, you to can't make this easy for me, huh? " He whispered to him self as he got more comfortable.
Is original plan was that Kara would sleep on the couch well (Y/N) slept in his room. From there, San wanted to watch over Kara, and will take action if needed to. However, with (Y/N) with there, then he would have to hold back if she decided to act. Sans let out a sigh at this thought. A good thing was that he didn't have to worry too much about his brother, because Sans knew that the Papyrus was spending the night with Undyne. She may be the new ruler of the underground, but she does make time for her good friend. Hopefully he won't let it slip that there are humans in Snowdins area.
Little did any of them know, that as soon Sans fell asleep, someone else's eyes opened...
~~Time Skip!~~
After another few hours (Y/N) shuffled in her sleep, and her eyes snapped open when she felt something out of place. She looked down to the couch.
Kara was gone.
"Kara?" She asked, looking around. "Kara?!" She asked louder. "Are you around her somewhere? Kara??"
Sans opened one eye when he heard the sound of (Y/N) shouting. He rubbed one eye as he stood up and looked down. Both eyes widened (???) when he saw only one twin. He seemed to fly down the staircase as he approached (Y/N).
"Where's Kara?" He asked.
"I don't know! I woke up and she was gone!" She panicked.
Sans felt his metaphorical blood freeze again. "Do you have any idea where she went??" He asked.
"No idea!" She yelled.
(Y/N) turned around to try and think, and it was a good thing she did, because when she did Sans left eye started to glow blue. He shook his head, trying to get himself to calm down. He managed to do so, and when he turned around again, his white pinpricks were back.
After another minute of straight forward panicking, the door was suddenly pushed open.
"Hey, guys. Sorry if I woke you up, I took longer than expected." Kara said, walking inside with a arm full of books.
Sans and (Y/N) blinked out of surprise, and both of them let out a sigh of relief. "You were at the library all this time?" (Y/N) asked.
"Yup. Like you said, the more we learn about this place, the better. I woke up early to get a head start." She said, setting down the books.
"Huh... Not a bad idea." (Y/N) said, picking up a book and opening it to a random page.
"Hey, Sans, is it okay if we stayed here for a while, while we learn more about the Underground?" She asked, facing the smol skeleton.
Sans looked over to the books; then to Kara, then to (Y/N). "Sure, I don't see a problem with it." He said.
This might work out great for him, so now he doesn't have to go far to watch over them. He then walked over to the couch and plopped down in it as the twins sat down on the floor with a pile of books in front of them. Sans let out a content sigh, the couch was so much more comfortable than the floor. He was about to fall asleep again, but before he could, he heard the sound of a yelp.
He opened one eye and looked at the twins. Kara gave herself a paper cut, and stuck her hand in her mouth. For a split second, her stats flashed infribt of Sans eyes, and his eyes widened as he looked over them. That paper cut made her lose only 1 HP, but that wasn't the concern... It was how much HP she had left. She had more than that just normal 20, and her EXP was much greater than a few kills like she said. Just before he could look over her LV, her stats disappeared. (Shocker)
A sense fear ran up his bones. Just exactly was she this morning? Was she really out getting books? Or was she gaining more EXP? Sans flashed her a scowl before closing his eyes again. He couldn't go to sleep now... He didn't feel safe around her... And besides, if he did fall asleep, he would only get nightmares.
