I looked at my sister with disbelief... What was Sans talking about...? What did she do? What path is she going down?
"Kara... What is he talking about? ... What did you do?" I asked, letting go of her hand.
She looks down, and her hair covers her eyes. For a second, I felt a wave of fear wash of me. I looked closer at the face, and my heart stopped... It looked like she what had I red glint in her eyes, and a chilling grin was plastered on a face. I took a step back from her and when I did, she picked up a per head and looked over to me with a normal facial expression. That was strange... Was it just my imagination?
"I...I'm sorry... While I was catching up, I was thrown into a few fights... And I panicked without you with me... So... I-I... I fought them... And... I won... I killed them..." She admitted, tears starting to form at the corner of her eyes.
"Kara...why...?" I asked.
"I panicked!! I'm not as cool-headed as you! They attacked, so... So I attacked back!" She cried as she placed her hands over her chest.
My fear left and was replaced with worry. "H-hey... calm down... It was out of self defence... Right?" I asked, she let out a sob and nodded her head. "If it was out of self defence, then it was just... If you promise me you won't kill anyone anymore... Then you can redeem yourself." I said, taking her hand again.
"You think so?" She asked.
"Of course. Now, come on, I see a town up ahead!" I said, guiding her.
We walked little ways, and soon came across a cute little town that was called "Snowdin ". Wow, what a convenient name. We walked to Gever for the town, and when we did, we sell that most of the townspeople one nervous... And some were scared. We decided to talk to some of the residents, but most didn't want to talk about what was troubling them. We finally learn from a lot of time socket that the adults were nervous because monster started to disappear. They had about a human passing through, and they believe that the human passing through, and they believe that the human could be the previous one that killed their previous King... Wait a minute... A human?
when we were done talking to the monster kid we walked off to a the secluded area near a river where no one could hear us.
"Kara.!" I began.
"You don't have to say anything... I know that they're scared because of May... ". She said.
"No..., Actually, I was going to say... That they kept saying "a human ". Singular! I don't think they know that we are humans! " I whisper shouted.
"What do you mean they don't know? "
"Well, they didn't recognise us as humans... So maybe we can settle here for a while and learn about this place more. By the looks of it, I going to need all the information we can get. " I said.
Kara looked down,unsure.
"What if they find out why humans? "
"I told you, don't worry 'bout it." A sudden voice said.
Both of us let out an "Eep!" As we turned to see Sans standing there, behind us. How did he manage to sneak up on us?
"How long have you been listening to us??? ", I practically shouted
"Hey now, there's no reason for you to get rattled... I just got here." He said. "But I will admit I might have listened in for a little." He winked. I flashed him a scowl, and he let out at chuckle to my action. "There's a library a little further in town, there, you can learn a little more about the Underground. When you're done with that, I can tell you about our current predicament. "
My eyes widened at his offer, and I looked over to Kara who had a similar expression. I looked back over to him and felt a small smile on my lips. "Thank you so much, Sans. The more we learn the better." I claimed.
"Hey, forgetaboutit. It's nothing. However, first things first... Are you two hungry?" He asked a bit blue.
Must be another monster thing...
