"Kara!!"
"(Y/N), wait!" I said, holding my hand out to her.
She didn't listen to me and ran to her sisters body. The world seem to grow quiet. I was waiting... Waiting for any sign of that Demon so I could attack. There is no way that I'm going to let her attack (Y/N) while I was here. I continued to watch, but instead of seeing betrayal, I saw something different. I could instantly feel it too. The one that (Y/N) was talking to and holding... It wasn't that Demon... That Demon that haunts my nightmares. This was Kara, a real sister. My hand fell a little as I want to smile started to form on my face.
Finally. It's about time that (Y/N) can relax about her. My smile grew more as I stuck my hand into my pocket. I can imagine her relief... (Y/N) must be feeling the same way I did when I saw Papyrus again after that reload. I saw her face come up, and my heart Nelly stop. She had a genuine smile on her face, there was no sadness, nothing, just... Joy. I didn't even fight back against this feeling in my chest. I felt my whole body relax. I really like that smile... I wish I could see it more...
"Hellloooo!" I heard her call our to me.
I snapped out of my thoughts and saw both her and her sister looking at me. I could feel my face warm up.... Even though I had no skin... Or sense to hot and cold... "Sorry, kid. I was zoning out again." I said. "And yea, she can come with us."
"Wait, if you were zoning out how did you know what I said?" She asked.
How did I know? "Magic." I answered, jokingly waving my hand in the air, but I felt like I've seen it somewhere before. Maybe on TV. (Y/N) let out an amused sigh as Kara laughed. Well, it's better than most reactions I get.
I kept an eye socket on both of them as we walked. I know that The one with us is actually Kara, but I still can't be too careful. I saw the them exchange signs back and forth, which I guess is that on language. I kind of wanna know what Kara told (Y/N), because soon after she glowed up bright red. I let out a silent sigh as I close my eyes for a second. In that second, I heard shuffle in behind me, and then I felt someone push against me. I turned around and saw (Y/N) directly behind me with a very colourful face.
"What's wrong, kid?" I asked her.
She looked nervous. She opened her mouth to talk, but instead of the speaking, Kara took over. "He was just telling me that she would feel safer walking next to you. "She said.
Are you medially fell suspicious at this... But the same time, a part of me was just happy to have a next to me. I shrugged my shoulders giving into that one part of me. "Alright, come on, kid."
She returned the smile, and walked next to me. I saw her glance backwards and then sighed along with a laugh. I sell my own smile grow larger. I like seeing other lacks like this. We continued on way to my house in silence. But it was a good silence. One that I felt at ease about.
We continued walking until we got to the mist. I looked at (Y/N) and back to Kara. And I held out my hand (Y/N), but still kept my eyes on them.
"Come on, don't want to get lost in there, now do we?" I asked them with a wink at the end.
They looked at each other and nodded. They held each other's hand, and then (Y/N) took mine. I rush went through my bones at the action. One that made me feel like not letting go. I held a soft, yet firm with on a hand as we went through the mist. It seemed thicker now than before. How strange.
When we finally broke through to the other side, I quickly lead them to my house. Undyne must still be in the area, so I wanted to spend as little time in the open as possible. When we reach the house, I quickly tried to unlock the door, but you know how it is when you're trying to hurry. Nothing seems to work with you.
I struggled to unlock the door, and finally did manage to do so. I rushed The girls inside, out of sight. I then stayed outside for another second. However, before I went inside, I saw a bright blue spear impale itself into the door frame, just. above. my. head.
"Hey, nerd! Where've you been all this time??"
