~~~Readers POV~~~
I walk up to the smell of something cooking... Wait, scratch that. The smell was of something burning. I scrunched my nose slightly as I let out a yawn. I shuffled around a little, and that's when I felt that I was hugging something. Right, I'm in the Skelebro's home on their couch. I must have been hugging a pillow in my sleep.
I was about to drift off to sleep again, but just as I was about to,the pillow started to move. My eyes snapped or pain, as I slowly looked to what I was holding. It wasn't a pillow at all. It was Sans.
"Oh my-!" I whisper shouted as I let go of him and sat up. I felt my face flush a deep red as he slowly started to wake up.
He opened on eye socket? With his white pinpricks immediately falling onto me. "Mornin, kid." He yawned.
"Morning..." I said with my face all flustered.
"Didja sleep well?" He asked.
"Uh...yeah." I said, looking away.
My eyes landed on the (Opposite/F/C) sweater on the floor. I felt my chest tighten. That's right... Kara is missing... I was hoping that it was just a bad dream. I looked down more answer my phone next to the couch. I picked up and flipped it open. No missed calls. I close the phone and put it into my chest, placing both hands over it. I felt a single tear bring my eyeful stop I just hope she's okay... Wherever she is.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" I heard Sans voice echo. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over to him. He was looking at me concerned. "You okay, kid." He asked.
"Oh,sorry... Not exactly." I mumbled, bringing down the phone and looking down to it once more.
I felt him put a hand on my shoulder, which caused me to look up and to meet with his white pinpricks. "I'm sure your sis is doing fine. We can go on find her after breakfast." He said.
I let out a sigh. "Alright... What's for breakfast? "  I asked, curious to know.
Was that the burning smell?
"I'm glad you asked human!" Papyrus shouted, popping up from around the kitchen door frame and honestly giving me a heart attack. "You will have the honor of dining on Master Chef Papyrus's home cooked spaghetti for breakfast!" He cheerfully declared, running back into the kitchen. A wave smoke hovered out of the kitchen as soon as he entered again.
"Should I be concerned?" I whispered to Sans.
"Just a little." He mumbled back.
Oh boy...
~~Sans POV~~
Soon after we "ate" Papyrus's spaghetti, We walked out of the house and toward the shop near the Inn. I figured that before we get started with the hunt for her sister, (Y/N) will need some edible food. Paps tried his best, and he's gotten a lot better since Frisk was here, but he is just to an inch away from making his food edible.
We reach the shop, and walked inside, cars in the bell above the door to ring. "Hello, how may I help you? " The shopkeeper asked, appearing from the back room. "Oh, I remember you, you are here just the other day, correct? " She asked, looking at (Y/N).
"Yes, that's right." She said.
"Well, it's good to see you again, but where is your sister? " She asked.
(Y/N) the glanced down toward the ground. "She..." She begun but stopped.
"She went out for the work, and didn't come back. So now were going to go out and look for her. " I said.
"I see." The shopkeeper said, looking from me to (Y/N) again. "Well, if you're going out, you're going to need a layer of warm clothes. Don't want you getting sick, now do we? " She said to her.
(Y/N) look down to her outfit of a sweater, black leggings come and a pair of white shoes. Both of us looked back to the shopkeeper, who had just pulled up a pile of clothes from behind the counter.
"I keep these for emergencies, but you're free to use them! I'm sure they'll be warmer than the ones you have on now. "  She smiled, pushing them to (Y/N). She slowly took them and smiled back to the shopkeeper. "Thank you ma'am." She kindly said.
I feel another sensation in my chest after seeing her smile. I turned my head away from the two as I took a deep breath, forcing down a rush that threatened to surface on my face. I'm starting to get these more frequently than before whenever (Y/N) is around, which is strange considering I've only known her for a few days. I let out a sigh as I turned my head forward, only to see (Y/N) walk into a back room with a pile of clothes. The shopkeeper walked back over to the counter again, so I walked over to meet her.
"Hey, can I have a few cinnamon buns?" I asked. I'm sure (Y/N) would like to eat a few after we get out there.
"Are you going to pay?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms. "I know all about you infamous tab at Grillbys." She smirked.
I let out a nervous chuckle as I reached into my pocket. And let out a sigh of relief after I felt some money in my pocket. (Wait. You almost had none??? Guess your drained to the bone - hahaha I suck ;-;)
"Yeah, here." I said, placing it on the counter.
She counted it out and then looked to me with a surprised smile. "Alright, there's enough for two cinnamon buns." She said, turning around. When she did, she looked down and let out a small gasp. She turned to me and then handed me a piece of clothing. "I forgot about this shirt. Could you do me a favour and give this to get while I get your order?" She asked, nudging her head to the back room. "Sure, no problem."
"Thanks, I'll have your cinnamon buns ready when you get back." She smiled.
I walked through the door that (Y/N) went through earlier and saw that there was a small hallway behind it. There was just a few doors to the left, and I heard movement in the last door. That must be the room (Y/N) is in. I think casually walked over to it and open the door. At home I don't have to knock when entering rooms, and soon it's become a habit... I really have to break it... As soon as I opened the door, I was met with a surprised and blushing, half naked (Y/N). My own face had heated up as if it was on fire, and I could feel my bones rattle from embarrassment.
"OOPS, SO SORRY, HERE YOU GO." I quickly said, tossing her the shirt and closing the door quickly. I speed walked out of the hall and passed the shopkeeper.
"Thank you so much for-what did you do?" She asked, placing a hand on her hip after seeing my face.
"Nothing!" I said, grabbing he bag of cinnamon buns and sitting in the corner of the store.
I then put the hood over my skull; tightening the strings, leaving only part of me  visible. I pulled my knees close to me and then hugged them. I stayed in that position for what felt like hours until I felt my embarrassment pass and heard (Y/N) walk out.
... I still kept my hood tightened as we thanked the shopkeeper and left.
