~~~Authors POV~~~
After a long while in the fog, (Y/N) finished crying her tears, and was reduced to small hiccups. She still held the sweater in her hands as she released her grip from the skeleton known as Sans.
"Come on, kid." Sans said, helping her up to her feet. "It's too cold to stay here any longer. "
"He's right, darling. Any longer and you'll catch your death of cold." Mettaton said.
She didn't say anything, only obliged to. Sans carefully let her out of the mist back to the front door of his house. Mettaton followed them to home making sure that both of them made it to the house safely.
"I do hope that everything will turn out alright. Here you go, darling. Here's my personal number in case anything happens. I'm so sorry, I have to get back to Dr. Alphys. My battery is nearly empty." He weakly smiled as he handed her a small paper. "Well, ta-ta for now!" He waved, walking into town towards the river person.
(Y/N) look down at the paper and then her eyes widened as she remembered something. She has a phone! And so does Kara! Maybe she'll answer if she called her.
As soon as Sans Open the door, she rushed inside and saw her (F/C) bag sitting near a stack of books. She placed her sister sweater down, dug through the bag, and found a silver phone. She flipped open, went to contacts, and found Kara's name she dialled, and then placed the phone to her ear.
(And that's how to find and use a phone! Your welcome!)
Ring-Ring... Ring-Ring...
No one answered.
(Y/N) then hung up the phone and let our hands full to her sides. Her chest felt numb.If she could, she start to cry again, but she already cried her self dry. She stayed frozen in place, and only snapped out of it when she felt something Pull at her sweater. She looked up and saw Sans.
"Come on, you should lie down for a bit." He said, carefully leading her to the couch. Once again, she obliged, and followed him to the old couch. She sat down on the couch and Sans helped her to lie down. "I'll be right back, okay? I'm gonna go grab a blanket real quick." He said, pointing to his room. He then turned around and began to walk.
He walked up the stairs and walked down the hallway to his room. Before he entered, he looked back over to (Y/N) and let out a sigh. He could only imagine how she must feel. She loved Kara, it was obvious that she meant the world to her... And to have her suddenly taken away... It would be like Papyrus being suddenly taken away from hi-
"Urg!" (Did he hear me?) Sans felt a sharp stabbing pain go across his chest. He quickly grabbed the area where his heart would be as he closed the door to his room. What was that? ...Could it be an understanding? But... How would he know.
(Only I do. This hints something ;) -SURPRISE!)
The feeling faded and when it did, he quickly shut up as he scanned his room. He found a spare blanket in the corner of the messy room, and went to retrieve it. Once in his hands, he took a deep breath as he placed one hand of his chest again. His smile fell slightly as he turned back around towards the door. You left the room and then peeked over the balcony. (Y/N) was still there. He let out a faint sigh of relief as he walked back down.
He made his way over to the (E/C) eyed human and ten placed a blanket over her.
"Here you go kid, this should warm you up. Just take it easy for now. We can do a full search tomorrow." He said.
"Thank you, Sans." She said, pulling the blanket closer.
"No prob." He waved off.
He was about to walk into the other room, but before he could, he felt something pull on his jacket sleeve. He turned around and saw that (Y/N) was holding him back.
"Hey... Could... Could you stay with me until I fall asleep..." She mumbled, a faint pink powdering her face.
Sans face powdered over in colour as well. He gave a weak chuckle as he turned back around. "Yeah, sure kid." He said
(Y/N) mumbled another "Thank you." As she up, and Sans sat in the area that she cleared, and won't see it, she layer on Sans. Not too much to bother him, but enough to where she felt better. Sans wrapped his arm around her to keep her from falling, which only added to her comfort.
 after a short while, she managed to follow sleep. One Sans I start to heard her lightly snore, he slowly took us arm off her, And was about to set off. However, as soon as he was about to move, she wrapped her arms around the school in, similar to how I child would hold a teddy bear for protection in its sleep. Sans face flushed a deep blue at the action, and then felt a sudden guilty for wanting to get up. He let out a sigh as he leaned back into the couch and wrapped his arms around her once again.
"Welp. Looks like I'm crashing her tonight." He said, looking around.
~~Time Skip to Narnia~~
"Sans! I'm sorry I took so long! But Undyne wanted to start the cooking lesson early, The river person was busy so I had to walk here, and-! "
Papyrus shouted, opening the door to him and his brothers home. He expected to see his brother on the side, a panicking mess. But instead, he saw his brother asleep on the couch along with the human from before.
Papyrus stayed speechless at the sight of them, but after a moment, a happy smile crossed his face. He walked inside, close the door carefully so you wouldn't wake them, walked upstairs into his own room, and went into his closet. He was about to set the blanket over his brothers sleeping figure when an idea crossed his head. (Oh no?!)
"Oh! Wait! There's a camera!" He tried to whisper as he searched the living room draws (Oh at least he didn't wake them... WAIT?!? A CAMERA?!?).
After a minute, he managed to find an old, beat up, but functioning camera. He pointed it towards the two on the couch, and then push the button twice. After he did so, two pictures slid from the bottom. He took the two of them, shook them for a second, then looked down at them. Both were identical pictures of the two asleep on the couch. He placed the camera down, and placed one image next to the camera. He took the other picture and placed inside the humans bag.
"There! Now both of us will have something to remember this! Nyeh heh heh!" He said, grabbing the orange blanket and placing it over his brother. "I'll leave this here so Sans and the human can see it!" He smiled toward the picture.
With that, Papyrus ran up the stairs into his room, excited to see what tomorrow will bring.
(At least it wasn't on the Internet... Or whatever they call it :3)
