I decided to go with Augie, considering I called a lot of people dude all the time. I had thanked the hippies and Jack so much.

I was sad that the hippies left, but I knew they had to explore some more. They'd wanted to go on a road trip so badly, I wasn't gonna stop em.

I sat on Jack's bed with Augie in my lap. Jack opened the door and he basically melted. "Awww," he said cutely. "I was thinking we could go shopping, for Augie."

I looked down at Augie who had his ears perked. "You wanna get some toys, baby?" I said in a baby voice and he wagged his little tail. "That's a yes," I smiled at Jack.

We went to the nearest petsmart, I had Augie in my hands. He was so soft and cute. We walked inside and went straight to the harnesses. We got him a red one, which was a tad big, but he'd grow.

"Look!" I sat Augie down in the toy isle. I followed him, watching his little tail wag. He sniffed the toys and walked around. "Thank you so much," I hugged Jack around the torso and he rubbed my back.

"No problem, babe," he smiles. "Pick a toy Augie!" he called and crouched down to pet the small puppy. We watched him run down the isle and grab a big rope that had three squeakers in it. He grabbed a couple more, and then we went to the puppy food.

We picked some food for him, got him a big bed; he would weigh about 90 pounds full grown, and we got him a blanket as well.

"Don't we need some shampoo for him?" Jack asked quickly.

"Oh yeah!" I say. We quickly pick a shampoo and check out. The lady gives him a treat and pets him.

"He's very cute," she smiled.

"Thank you," I smiled and patted his head softly. After we finish checking out, we go back to the house and give him half a cup of food.

As he eats, Jack puts his toys on the floor and puts the harness and shampoo away. "He's so cute," Jack smiled and shook his head. I smiled at the puppy who was still eating his soft food.

I laid on top of Jack and ran my hands through his hair. I closed my eyes and listened to his breathing. "Thank you so so much," I said quietly. "I've always wanted a puppy, but I never thought about getting one."

He kisses my head, "I was happy to get you one, and pick him out. He was the cutest."

I sat up, straddling his hips. "I love you." A smile crept across his face and he sat up to cup my cheeks.

"I love you so much more," he gently kissed my lips. "It just occurred to me though," he began. "I don't even know your last name."

I smiled and laughed, "Ren."

"Alexis Ren, my favorite girl. No, my favorite person. The love of my life," he smiled against my lips and kissed them again.

"Why do you treat me so good, Jack?" I asked as he stared at me.

"Because from the moment I saw you, I thought I'd never be lucky enough to get someone as chill, cool, sweet, and pretty as you. But look, your practically sitting on my dick," he winked and laughed.

"Jack! That was so cute and you just ruined it," I whined and laughed all at once. "But I'm the lucky one, I freakin left you in Omaha sink could go to Hawaii with our friend. And you still love me, you forgave me and bought me the CUTEST PUPPY EVER!" I jumped off of the couch and played with the puppy. "You're so cute, yes you are!" I said playfully and he wagged his tail happily.

I looked up and noticed Jack was staring at me with a smile on his lips. I smiled back and continued to pet the puppy. Damn, I was lucky. Why was I just now realizing that? Jack really must love me.

"Alexis," he started. "Just out of curiosity, when are you gonna let me fuck you?" I looked at him and frowned.

"Is that all you want?" I asked.

"No, but I could make you feel real good," he smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know, it'll happen when it happens," I winked and paid more attention to the puppy.
