Jack took me to the same cafe that we went to the night we met. "What's good here, Jack?" I asked curiously as we looked at the menus.
"Hawaiian waffles," he said pointing to the picture. My eyes widened and he laughed. "Bananas, pineapples, strawberries, whipped cream-"
"I'll take those," I smiled brightly. We waited for a waitress to come take our order. "Hey, Jack?" He smiled, but didn't look at me. "Jack?" He looked up this time, but didn't say anything. "Why won't you say what?"
"It's cute when you say my name," he smiles.
"Huh?"
"Every time you say something, you say my name, too," he pauses. "It's cute." I smile and shrug. "What did you want?"
"What are we gonna do today?" I finally ask.
"Whatever you wanna do," he answers.
"Cool," I smile. I rest my chin in the palms of my hands as I wait for the waitress. She finally comes over.
"Sorry for the wait, what can I get for this fine couple?" she smiles with her rosy cheeks.
I feel my face heat up, "Oh we're not dating," I laugh nervously.
"What? Well you two would make a cute couple," I scratch the back of my neck and smile, I could feel myself blushing. "What can I get for you?"
"Um, I want the Hawaiian waffles and...I'll have an orange juice with that," I close my menu and hand it to her with a smile. She smiles back.
"And you, young man?" she asks looking to Jack. He orders and then looks to me with a smile.
"You were blushing!" he finally says.
I gasp, "I was not!"
"Yes you were, when she called us a 'fine couple'!" he argued. I shook my head and covered my face. "Oh, so you don't think we'd be a cute couple?"
I shrug, "I dunno."

After eating, Jack pays and we get into his car. "So, where to?" he asks.
"Umm, do you have some cash on you?" he nods and a smile spreads across my face. "Let me drive."
"What?"
"Let me drive!" I say.
"Do you even have your license?" he asks.
"Oh sure," I say. He doesn't seem to believe me, "okay no."
"I can't let you drive, what if we get pulled over?" he asks.
"We aren't going to get pulled over, please! I haven't drove in a long time, Jack." He sighs and unbuckles. "Switch me sides." I crawl over onto his lap and rise up so he can crawl under me.
Once we get situated, I start the car and drive to a shop we passed by earlier. "So where are we going?" he asks.
"You'll see," I smirk. After a few minutes of driving, I pull into the parking lot of a skate shop. "C'mon c'mon!" I rush to his side of the car and grab his hand. I intertwine my fingers with his and run inside.
I look around in amazement, at all the skateboards, longboards, and pennies. "This is what I wanna do all day."
"Stare at boards?" he asks.
"No, skate!" I reply eagerly. We look around until we find pennies that we like, then Jack pays for them and we walk outside. "Leave your car here, let's just go!" I start to run, drop the penny, and hop on.
I felt the wind in my hair as I sped past the walking people on the wide sidewalk. "Wait up!" Jack yelled. He eventually caught up. I looked over and watched the wind hit his hair. It was a mess, a cute mess. I reached over and grabbed his hand.
"I think I might consider it!" I had to say loudly over the wind.
"What?" he yelled back.
I sighed, "nothing!"
